Basic but comfortable and well located

The location is great near Parque Central. Lots of places to eat and easy to get a taxi. For a basic accommodation it has some nice touches like a comfortable bed and artwork on the walls.

It can get loud at night as it’s right downtown. Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise.

Friendly staff, good location, affordable

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped me check-in late and rebook my reservation when I had to change my travel plans. Staff promptly helped me call cabs and navigate Huatulco. The location of Shaguiba is also excellent, right by Huatulco's main square.

The building facilities are quite old. It is not very accessible, as you need to take stairs and there are no elevators - this was not an issue for me, but could be for others. The bathroom, while clean, was old and the toilet seat was missing, which was uncomfortable, though manageable.

A regrettable choice

I was expecting it to be louder, lots of places to eat, easy access to ADO and public transportation.

Out of my one month of travel this was the only place that left me waking up itching and with bites that I was hoping but not likely were mosquitoes. Room 112. The beach was far and the property could use an overall upgrade.

The best goes on in Huatulco.

We had a spacious corner apartment. Great view of the Park. Restaurants all around Staff helpful with a smile Housekeeper will clean and change sheets everyday if you want. AC was adequate for the job. IT GETS HOT HERE.

Curtains need to be thermal. The afternoon sun really heats up the windows. Can't do much about late night parties on the square. There are at least 3 bars seeming to fight for sonic dominance. Pounding music all night. Who really needs to hear YMCA at 4am!??! Bring earplugs.

cute place with lots of Charme

we super loved our stay there - we had the rooftop cabin and we where super happy there - the place is simple and old but definitely has Charme

the wind closed our door and it was locked immediately - two times we had to ask them to re-open it

Great value and location.

For the equivalent of $30 USD this was a good choice. Great location, as it's close to the square (zocolo).

Office was not clearly marked,. One checks in at a small store located below the hotel. Had to ask 3 people where office was.

Location, Housekeeping very attentive and clean, front desk very attentive to guests needs. Very friendly, prompt to give suggestions to get around.

The AC was to small for the area therefore the rooms were hot most of the time. Second the AC wasn't located in the room it was located in the hall again there wasn't any fresh air into the bedroom.

Great comfortable budget option in the town's center

The shower is old and did not have a good water pressure.

We booked a single room and on the arrival we got a big double room. It was very comfortable: the room was furnished with old beautiful wooden furniture: table, some shelfs, chairs, bed was huge and perfect for the sleep. The location was excellent--in the heart of the center! The staff does not speak English but is very polite and nice.

Central location, sweaty sleepless nights

Room was clean. Location was perfect, right next to Main square.

Rooms need a renovation badly. Bathrooms are dark and depressing! We stayed on 2 occasions, the first the fan in our room couldn’t go up beyond lowest setting and air con was on the hallway and did nothing for temperature on room which made for a few sweaty and uncomfortable nights. Second stay the fan in room was better but air con was again in hallway but didn’t emit anything but a faint warm sigh! Hard to sleep! Wifi is terrible, complained twice to the young girls at the check in but not much was done.

Podría mejorar...pero cumple con el propósito

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación, totalmente céntrico tanto para ir a las playas y el centro histórico de crucecita. Desde luego el precio es accesible, y nos dieron la habitación 205 la cual está cerca del balcón. Me agradó la atención de rosalinda. Quien además nos dio opciones de tours. Y fueron muy buenos. Creo que si se ajusta la calidad con el precio.

No me gustó que es un hotel ya viejo y descuidado, había un solo aire acondicionado para dos habitaciones, y a la mitad del viaje se descompuso el aire xke al prenderlo sacó chispas, y aunque lo repararon en 2 horas las verdad fue bastante incomodo tener allí a la gerente y al electricista. (No hubo ni cortesías o algo al respecto por la molestia) Tienen ventiladores de techo pero al encender como que se ven chispas, la verdad creo que es bastante riesgoso. Las toallas son de sport Word (literal) y aun así me "regañaron " de que saqué una del hotel solo para ir a la playa. No tiene estacionamiento ni elevador. Y las chicas de la recepción no son nada serviciales.
