A beautiful homely place to stay.
The hosts Bahrat and Ann were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our room was very clean, homely and comfortable. It was obvious that they take pride in their property and hosting. There was a lovely communal lounge and dining room (for breakfast) which were also very comfortable and homely. The view is amazing. Breakfast was very nicely presented, with great choice and the cooked part was good. I liked the fact that you could check in from 2pm and check out was 11am.
The only thing that I wasn't keen on was the walk down a steep hill to get into town. But I guess you would get used to it. It actually felt easier walking back up. 😂

Like a visit home as a student - you’ll be well looked after.
Bharat and Anne were welcoming, courteous and attentive. I felt very well looked after. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast each morning.
Possibly time to upgrade mattress and bed linen. Bath ‘sheets’ rather than standard towels would add extra luxury.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Torlands.
Bharat and Ann were very welcoming and accommodating. The accommodation was comfortable and it was nice to have use of the lounge with fantastic views. Excellent breakfast.
