A beautiful homely place to stay.

The hosts Bahrat and Ann were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our room was very clean, homely and comfortable. It was obvious that they take pride in their property and hosting. There was a lovely communal lounge and dining room (for breakfast) which were also very comfortable and homely. The view is amazing. Breakfast was very nicely presented, with great choice and the cooked part was good. I liked the fact that you could check in from 2pm and check out was 11am.

The only thing that I wasn't keen on was the walk down a steep hill to get into town. But I guess you would get used to it. It actually felt easier walking back up. 😂

Like a visit home as a student - you’ll be well looked after.

Bharat and Anne were welcoming, courteous and attentive. I felt very well looked after. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast each morning.

Possibly time to upgrade mattress and bed linen. Bath ‘sheets’ rather than standard towels would add extra luxury.

Immaculate restful haven with superb views.

Bharat and Ann were most courteous and attentive hosts. The room was beautifully presented - scrupulously clean and comfortable. Very tasty breakfasts were freshly prepared for each person's preference. The highlight, in such warm weather, was the magnificent balcony terrace with the views over to the Brecon beacons. Parking was easy and the area was very quiet. Very restful stay.

Can't do anything about the steep climb up Chaucer Road from Monmouth. It's a demanding climb.

Excellent - highly recommend

Everything!! The location is only a short distance from Monmouth (uphill - so the views are stunning). The room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. Bharat, the host, was so lovely - we enjoyed chatting to him, and the breakfast he cooked for us was first class. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we revisit Monmouth.

It was tricky to find, and we drove past it three times before finally noticing the small sign outside, apparently the largest possible allowed by the local council

This is a Must do stay over

This was a true B&B in every sense...magnificent host, charming guests to share breakfast with...there were no negatives here.. It was the perfect location for a short stop in South Wales..everything we wanted to see was within 20 minutes of the property.
