Clean but nothing else

Clean

Breakfast was only cold pastries and coffee or tea. The beds were two put together. The area was close to the train station and the trains were offline so we had to travel by bus from Arona and then walk uphill to this place around a cross under. communication was through google translate only.

If we visit Stresa we would stay here again.

there were only two units on site. very private but was in a private home. second floor. lots of treats to choose from, with an expresso maker and excellent milk frothed. The hosts and staff were friendly, helpful and gave good advice to optimize our visit to Stresa.

Great bargain, spacious room and a beautiful garden... but a peculiar breakfast.

The location of the property was ideal, located approximately a gentle 10 minutes easy walk from the property. I was nervous because of the proximity to the train line, but it was completely fine! The garden was absolutely stunning and a fantastic asset for the property to relax in!! The owner was keen to explain the house rules, even though we struggled to communicate. The room itself was massive and the bathroom was very spacious, felt very relaxing. Although there was not any air-con, the room was definitely cool enough. There was a fridge for us to use, which was great to leave bottles of water in.

I think that the breakfast was surprising. Although there was plentiful sweet biscuits, it lacked having other food (even some more pastries) which would satisfy my early morning hunger pangs. I appreciate that makes it cheaper, but it would've been a great addition to have a loaf of bread or something to fill me up!! The coffee was alright. Checking out was a bit complicated as didn't know where to leave the key! Then we were surprised with the tourist tax (more because we had limited cash left).

Not A Pleasant Stay

Nothing. Unfriendly hosts. Room attendant was pleasant.

The location is convenient to the train station IF you like trains rattling by your window day and night, loud cars and whistles. You could not leave the window open for air and there was no fan in the room until we asked for one. I did not like having to leave our room key at an unattended location. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone. In room breakfast was a joke. Packaged toast and cookies. Overrated and overpriced.

If the communication between you and the owner, forget this hotel..

Clean appartment. Good internet connection.

The owner of the house only speaks italian and does not speak english: she uses a translator to communicate with the travellers which is not always convenient for a smooth communication. Moreover, when it was suggested to add fruit in the breakfast, the owner didn't understand our request and although we insisted to know if it was possible to have fruit, the owner never replied to our request which obliges us to buy fruit.

Un lieu très agréable géré par des personnes extra !

Tout ! Le logement était propre, confortable, le jardin très agréable. Cependant ce fut surtout une rencontre superbe avec des personnes exceptionnelles ! Teresa et son mari sont incroyables de gentillesse et de générosité. Un petit souci de santé aurait pu gâcher nos vacances, grâce à leur aide et leur soutien, nous avons pu poursuivre notre périple.

Très bon séjour (malgré la pluie !)

Chambre familiale spacieuse, gentillesse de notre hôte, cuisine équipée très appréciée, voiture que l on peut garer à l intérieur de l établissement.

Il manquerait quelques produits frais pour le petit déjeuner et le bruit du train qui passe juste à côté, mais ce ne sont que des petits détails car je recommande cet établissement qui est très bien.
