The shower on my floor didn't have warm water and the noise from the road next to the Ryokan can b2 disturbing during the weekend

Th whole experience was magical, from being greeted at the front door to sadly saying our goodbyes after only one night. We had 2 rooms with private onsen which was wonderful, the gardens would be beautiful at anytime of the year. You were given traditional Japanese outfits to wear for dinner, in our own private dining room, which just added another dimension to an already spectacular stay.
Unfortunately my son fell asleep and didn't manage to get to go the the ramen on offer in the evening ;-)

Very authentic experience with great, kind staff. The Japanese style breakfast that was included and the lunch options were delicious!
Cot style beds were a bit thin, and the rice grain pillow wasn’t very comfortable.
