In a great location for Kyoto, with easy access to transport networks, supermarkets and attractions. Was a compact little apartment with everything you needed. Host was absolutely lovely.
Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable! This would have been a 9 or 10 rated property for us, but the beds were just not very good sleep in. They creaked so loudly every time you moved a tiny bit, and it bowed in the middle which didn’t make it comfortable at all. Ended up taking the futon mattress and blankets to the floor which was fine then!

Room was very warm and laundry was affordable. Quiet area and easy to walk around the city. Staff were nice enough to let us check in late at night.
The bathroom was about as big as a bathroom on a plane and towels were not supplied but they had razors and tooth brushes. The beds were very creaky. We had flexibility and decided to leave a day early.
