The location was great - away from the centre but only a couple minute walk to supermarket, restaurants etc. Parking literally at the door, everything you would need to cook, if you were so inclined.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Worsley apartment! It was bright, clean and so comfortable - perfect for our family. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making it feel welcoming and it was well equipped with everything we could possibly need as a family, from kitchen essentials to extra touches that made it feel like home. The beds were super comfy, the space was spotless and the location was great for everything we wanted to do. The team were wonderful too - super responsive and genuinely kind people who made sure we had everything we needed and always happy to help with anything. It honestly all made our trip so easy and relaxing. We’re already looking at dates to come back and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Quiet location at southern end of beach. Very clean and well equipped. Battenburg is the smallest of the flats, but perfect for 3 nights. Would stay again.

Short break in Shanklin.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable as well as being really well equipped. The location was perfect giving easy access to the esplanade and beach as well as the high street shops and bus stops.

Location and facilities

The carpets need a clean, the kitchen scale a battery and extra towels would be great given we use the same towels for the hot tub and a shower and not enough time to dry properly. The doors are a bit dangerous for families with kids given they keep shutting.

Very disappointing

Not a lot the kitchen was well stocked in equipment and was clean the complimentary basket was a nice touch

We quickly realised we were staying in a converted garage the shower was so pathetic in pressure rain would be more effective it was too small and you couldn’t hear yourself think with the extractor fan going and the room was so light in the morning. In the blurb it said that you can use the sister hotel facilities but failed to say it’s a 15 minute walk or a five minute drive. We failed to find the hot tub we ended up cutting out stay short by two days as we could sleep in the tiny double bed which you had to walk sidewards to get round god help four adults staying in there using the sofa bed the shower is a wet room which gets very wet and the mat doesn’t let water flow easily.

Perfect stay in IOW

We had an amazing time staying at Shanklin Villa (Battenburg Apt). The spaciousness, cleanliness and little treats blew us away! The location of the apartments is very convenient, being a 5min walk from the beach and 10min walk from the centre of town where there are grocery shops, cafes etc. Ruth & Sarah were very attentive and helpful in providing details of the area and what we have access to. Very warm and approachable workers within the premise at all times.

The only criticism we can make is that the shower room is merged with the toilet and hence it can get wet all over and takes a bit of time to dry properly. We were driving to IOW Festival daily which takes ~25mins and the roads need your full beam on and careful turning around the winding country roads. If that's not an issue for you, and you like to spend some time on the beach as well, this place is the perfect choice.

Stunning location, thought of everything.

We stayed in Cadogan, a one bedroom apartment. The location was fantastic, right on top of the beach. With a seaview from the living room of the apartment. A short walk to Shanklin Chine, old town, or beach. Our own parking space was a must, that gave me peace of mind whilst away. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, milk, washing pods, hand soap, showergel, shampoo, biscuits, tea, sugar, coffee machine with pods. An iron and board, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, TV, radio, fridge, coffee machine, gas hob, oven, kettle, and toaster. It was clean, roomy, and we had WiFi. The bathroom had a shower but not a bath. There were games, monopoly Scrabble etc for a rainy day. The TV was setup for BBC iPlayer and Disney, and possibly more apps we didn't try, making it great for the entire family. The access to the local hotels facilities and Chine were unexpected, and very well received. We managed to use the toddler play area, outdoor park, and toddler pool. They really have thought of everything. Would stay again.

The automated fire door closer on the kitchen needed new batteries, so it kept on closing. Which was annoying, and I had to watch my toddlers fingers constantly. Third party payment collection was painful. Other than that, absolutely nothing! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Bright, spacious apartment perfect for walking holiday

We had a lovely one-bedroom apartment with a bit of an ocean view. It was bright and open with a small kitchen and everything we needed to cook while we were there. There was even milk in the fridge for our tea when we arrived! It's a short walk from the coastal path, the Chine, the old village and the high street, and a 15-minute walk to the train station. Staff were super helpful.

There is a weird fire-safety box at the base of the kitchen and living-room doors that would suddenly whirr and cause the doors to shut - once this happened at 4 am with a loud bang!

Perfect place to stay on the Isle of Wight!

Excellent location for the village and seafront. On-site parking was a huge bonus. Studio was perfectly equipped, lovely view, comfy bed and plenty of clothes storage. They even organised our ferry and we got a discount. Cherry on the cake is that you have access to the facilities at the nearby Luccombe hall hotel but we didn’t make use of it, albeit the place looks superb. It’s also a great place to explore the island from. Staff we met were very friendly and polite. We would only stay here when we visit again.

Beautiful, easy sea-view studio

Superb location halfway up the hill between the beach and the 'village' (5 mins walk to each). Communication was super clear and staff thought ahead about what we'd need and want to know so we didn't even have to ask. Free entry to the Chine and a discount on the ferry was much appreciated, as was the offer of a pool at the sister hotel (we didn't use it, but it was nice to have the option). The studio itself was finished to a very high standard - it was clean, quiet and had a lovely sea view with a table and chairs next to the window so you could look out (also a good view from bed). We ate out, but the studio had everything you needed for simple, warm-up meals, including a microwave and oven. It's nice to have fridge / cutlery / kettle, etc for snacks.

Shanklin Villas is a home from home for three generations of our extended family.It's excellent

Shanklin Villas are constantly refreshed and updated and the standards have not slipped in over 10 years! It's a great venue for getting together with family and friends with apartments of different sizes to meet different needs. The jaccuzzi is always popular and it's a short walk to the village ,chine and beach with a choice of restaurants locally.

Amazing stay

We loved everything about this property, from the ease of booking, the communication from the hosts to the apartment itself, it was amazing. We stayed in the Cadogan apartment, the decor was lovely, it was literally like home from home with everything you could need. The sea view is beautiful, the bed is huge and so comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The complimentary items were a nice touch. We highly recommend

The only small gripe was the noise from people walking around in the apartment above, but this can’t be helped and certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying again

Great apartment and facilities/services :)

The apartment was really great, well kept, spacious for two people, good kitchen, liked all the little additions i.e. milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, hot chocolate, crisps, sweets, and general elements i.e. paper towels, dishing washer liquid, flash, dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs etc. ~The cleaner, cannot remember her name, was brilliant, took pride in her work, wanted the guests to feel at home - thank you. The additional access to the hotels swimming pools, games etc. was very useful and brilliant, the Shanklin Chine pass was appreciated as well....

On arrival no shower mat was provided, sorted that later, also the washer/dryer, the dryer element did not seem to work well at all, kept switching off and then did not ever dry.... the bed became uncomfortable after 2 nights, very hard and ended up giving us backache.

Aewsome holiday home

Attention to detail - the unit was loaded with every small thing u might need. Hot tub was a added advantage. It has jacuji in one of the bathrooms as well. The proprty was near to beach & comes with a reserved parking space - this was so far the best airbnb concept type units i have stayed in uk. They accommodated an early check in request as well. Very accommodating. I must stay 10/10 from my side. The unit has 3 bedrooms well enough to host a family. Everything was perfect from start to end. Would like to visit again in future.

Good price, good location, well equipped bijou 1 room apartment, with a top quality TV

Very good location, but no real views to speak of. parking right outside front door was on a downward slope and my (quite low) car grounded out which was annoying, but waiting until the adjacent space was free and approaching from an angle solved that problem. a normal car would probably be ok. Well fitted out apartment with just a few signs of wear (one cabinet door a bit chipped etc) but milk and biscuits set out for arrival was a nice touch and we were very happy at the price

Family above had several kids that ran about a lot for a couple of evenings, which was a bit annoying, but not the fault of the venue. The housekeeper said she had spoken to them to respect the other people in the block
