Great place to stay and unwind in Shanklin

Communication was friendly, prompt and informative right from the start and carried on till the last day.

Not much you can do given the layout of the property. Just a shower screen for the bathroom with the shower would have made it easier to use as you don't really have time for a leisurely bath on short holidays.

Host lovely. House well thought of and brilliantly caters for families with kids.

Parking but this was mentioned beforehand and we were informed and prepared to find parking spaces nearby.

Fantastic, well equipped property.

The property was extremely well equipped for a family. Everything you need from toys and baby equipment to a well equipped kitchen with everything provided to make you comfortable. The property is in great location, close to the high street and the sea front. The owner could not be more helpful and welcoming.

Absolutely perfect !!

We had the best Christmas ! We could not fault anything what’s so ever ! Communication from Jo was great, we arrived and we all as a family couldn’t believe how lovey the house was ! It’s was just perfect .. Home from home !! We doubled parked outside the property to unload and I parked the car just 2 mins drive ( 5 to 10 min walk back ) at the train station .. it cost about £ 8 for 4 days !.. perfect !! The house was clean spacious and there was absolutely everything we needed available!! The photos on booking . Com doesn’t do it justice tbh ! We were welcomed by A lovely box of biscuits, coffee, milk and a thoughtful bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! There had been a lot of thought gone into this holiday home ! We will definitely be returning! Shanklin is also a lovely area… lots of lovely walks and runs !!! Not one negative about this property! Thank you Jo x

Perfectly idealic and spacious

This is located close to the town and seaside. Parking is a mare and I had to drive around each time I returned to the house but the host gave good locations on where to look and I soon learnt the hot spots for usually free spaces and most were only a 5 minute walk from the house maximum. The house is large and spacious with loads of beds and comfy mattresses. Bath is a little small if you are large or tall you may end up not fully submerged but children and I were fine. Didn't get to use the garden/patio area as rained pretty much the entire time but it would be nice for a summer lunch or dinner. LOVED that there were child friendly activities in the home. The Wii we had loads of fun with the interactive games making rainy days not such a pain. Quiet area and friendly neighbours. Local shops in walking distance for all needs or aldi and morisons only a short drive. Genuinely worth every penny. Would return here in a heartbeat.

Only down side to this property was the slight pain of the parking but really wasn't that big a deal as described above and the stairs leading to the kitchen are tiny and before a morning coffee they had me concentrating way harder than I like! 🤣

We liked everything in the property, very well maintained and the location is fantastic. Both Jo and Stephen were very helpful throughout. What amazed me was they were very thoughtful about kids particularly the young ones- lots of toys, activities and books were provided. Very neat and clean property, the beds were very comfortable to sleep, a nice patio with seating arrangements, DVD’s, YouTube, Netflix, every detail was taken care of. Not to forget - a chilled bottle of Prosecco as a welcome gift!

No complaints really, we liked everything except the bathrooms are slightly smaller but for a short stay it can be accepted.
