Quiet and spacious but not homely

Spacious, very quiet, well located near some great pubs in Shanklin, and with easy access to the West of the Island

It felt a bit tired in some of the details, with serious door scuffing on the entrance to the lounge influencing the first impression. There were some cracked tiles in one bathroom and a shower tray in the en-suite that did not empty well. The toilet seat in the main bathroom would not stay upright. Compared to places we rate a 9 or 10, it did not feel homely. The fittings and furniture were generally high quality, but are quite generic, and the few pictures present were hung in unusual places. The impression was very much that we were staying somewhere that was run as a business, as opposed to being invited as a guest to someone's home or special holiday bolt hole. It wouldn't take much effort to bring this up to a 9 or 10.

Fantastic apartment in Shanklin!

We loved absolutely everything! The apartment was beautiful, immaculately clean, really spacious and so comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept well. The apartment was perfectly located and it was an easy walk in to Shanklin. We had our own reserved parking space too. Adam made the whole process of booking, checking in and checking out really easy. We can't wait to book again.

One of The best holiday home on the island?

Very clean I have stayed in a few places on the island and this is definitely the best. Clean comfortable has everthing you need and close to the beach and Shanklin village. We hope to return next year and book the same apartment

En-suite show slow to drain away but has separate bath shower in main bathroom so not an issue.

Excellent.

Spotlessly clean. Modern. Very comfortable beds. Had everything you need in it, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooker, fridge/freezer, vacuum, TV and radio. Ensuite shower room to main bedroom.

Spacious well appointed accommodation. Great location and allocated parking.

Settee too soft, bed too firm. Unfortunately the freezer drawer had not been cleaned and the mugs had tea stains.

Fantastic base, lovely apartment, a must stay if staying on the island

Fantastic apartment, very clean and spacious. Beds were so comfortable. Fantastic base for exploring and shops and beach on door step. Lovely modern feel good parking and private entrance and quiet area even though minutes walk from beach, shops or tearooms

Smoke alarm went off every time we opened the oven door with both fans on but at least we know they worked 😀

Superb apartment

Super spacious, perfect location and very clean. Beds were super comfy, plenty of storage and appliances/electricals which was a god send. We had the absolute best time here making memories.

Nothing really stands out at all. The smoke alarm was extremely sensitive, but it wasn't a huge issue at all

Quiet location

Excellent location just a short walk to old Shanklin with all its amenities but in a very quiet street. It was only a short walk to the top of Shanklin Chine, a 7 day pass is about £6. The apartment is bigger than appeared in the photos.

It’s semi basement so was a bit dark in the living area. This was the only downside.

Superb

Spacious, well furnished, high spec fixtures and fittings. Excellent labelling and instructions.

A lamp in the living room would have been good as the spotlights are very bright in the evening. A full length mirror would also have been good. Otherwise it was excellent.
