Relaxing and friendly stay - would highly recommend

Great location, in residential area, a short walk from Company’s Garden. Attractively furnished with lots of inviting shaded areas to sit and relax. Comfortable room with terrace.

I wanted to book the room at reception, but it was more expensive than online. The boss clearly showed her dissatisfaction that I booked online, the room furniture was partly broken and its zenith was long past. I reported that the TV didn't work, nobody was interested. I can't recommend the house more highly

The staff where friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Nice area to sit outside in the sun to have a drink or read a book by the pool.

We had a great time during our stay in Capetown. Michelle and her staff gave us great tips and made us feel very comfortable and relaxing.

Disappointing

The location was very good - central. Also the host was lovely - so friendly and helpful. The flock of little goslings in the pool were delightful.

Unfortunately it was extremely hot when we stayed there and there was no aircon. The beds in the second room we had were extremely uncomfortable. Also it was very noisy (until curfew) as the property was on a busy corner of town.

Holiday from hell

The Owner still suffer from the remnants of the past and was condescending. she could not curb her disdain, always there with disrespectful comments. one new year she whilst we were the whole night at medi clinic with Grandson she had the audacity to knock with great violence as we raided by apartheid police. She probably is polite and respectful, but believe her kind. I can list the incident of Aircon where I told her I can’t sleep without an Aircon, she decided to be facetious “You can sleep in pool”. She been intrusive the entire period.

The Manor House has an olde world feel with wooden floor boards and antique furniture. The beds are comfortable and the room is cosy. Michelle is very hands-on.

We would have appreciated proper coffee and milk in the rooms instead of Nescafé. We also needed a mini-bar for our white wine but were able to use the refrigerator in the kitchen at least.

Superb family accommodation in the heart of the City Bowl

There aren't many guesthouses that can accommodate five adults, and are pet-friendly into the bargain. So what a pleasure to discover Mountain Manor, which provides high-quality accommodation in an unbeatable location. Michelle is a warm and friendly host, who goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and looked after. Highly recommend.

The perfect pet friendly spot!

The room and balcony were lovely. It 100% met my expectations for what I paid. The outdoor area is nice and split into 2 tiered sections with the swimming pool area below. It's a close walk to De Waal park which the mutt really appreciated. There's a great Italian restaurant across the road called Woodlands.

The parking would be a little awkward if there were more guests but it's very secure.

Wir hatten drei tolle Tage und empfehlen diese wunderbare Unterkunft in Kapstadt!

Die Unterkunft ist toll gelegen, sehr gut ausgestattet, hat eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin und sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Das Silvester Dinner am Pool war etwas Besonderes! Wir haben die drei Tage sehr genossen und können Mountain Manor nur empfehlen!
