Lovely no frills hotel with exceptional cleanliness and comfortable beds and rooms.

Great little hotel in an excellent spot across from a very nice grocery store and walkable into town. It is uphill into town but not bad at all. View of lake from some rooms. Very personable staff who went out of there way to make our stay comfortable? Love the town! Breakfast just ok but the cleanliness was excellent as were showers, etc.

The hotel met my expectations and our needs well for our short stay.

Location was good: an easy walk to the centre of Castiglione but with on-site car parking which was a priority for me. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The road passing the hotel was busier that I expected and traffic during the night disturbed me a bit as I had a room on the front. This wouldn't have been an issue with rooms further back in the hotel.

Beautiful little hostel in a great location!

Staff were amazing and helped me out with anything that I needed. Great location! Right across the road from a big supermarket and close to some great restaurants. 15 minute walk to Rocca del Leone and the gorgeous historic town, and 5 minutes from the lake front. Felt super comfortable and safe here!

The location is amazing!!!! The hotel is close to the City Center and the Train Station. The staff are the best: very kind and so helpful. And also the breakfast is really delicious! Amazing experience! I will be back for sure!

Good for a short stay!

The location and the bed were good. It is ok for 1-2 stays but not much longer. The location was also good, 20’ walk to the beautiful old town. We did not visit the pool, so I cannot say how this was.

Breakfast was poor, the bathroom was old and didn’t seem very clean.

Room was booked for one. Expected cramped second rate single but was double with excellent bed and fully equipped plus wonderful view of old town. Breakfast adequate and staff very hard working. pool area disappointing as shabby and not very inviting but early in season. Location good walk to old town along very busy main road with typical hectic traffic and little safe pedestrian places. hotel in suburb, near petrol station and giant supermarket and busy road. This neds more information as photos cleverly hide these facts.

situation bearable but walk into town for nearest bar or restaurant very bad surface and felt dangerous with constant passing traffic, access traffic and very limited pavement. Hotel has restaurant but atmosphere very institutional and apart from town only other choice was supermarket snack bar and still had to cross busy road

A well-run family-owned hotel providing a clean, safe and comfortable base

The room I stayed in must have been newly refurbished as everything was in perfect condition from the fittings such as the door frames, bathroom suite and shower cubicle to all the furniture (bed, wardrobe, writing desk and chair) including the mattress which had just the right kind of firmness to produce sound sleep. The bed linen and towels were of very good quality, very white and clean. In fact, the hotel smelt lovely and clean at all times. Breakfast was good, freshly washed fruit was always offered - and if you asked for one piece of fruit or bread or a croissant, the friendly serving staff always brought you 2 or more. I loved the fact that the hotel's location meant I could easily walk the 10 mins to the historical centre or hop in my car parked on site in order to explore the surrounding historical hill-top cities. The hotel kindly lent me one of their bicycles and even that was in perfect nick - well-oiled with properly inflated tyres and a super-comfortable saddle. The wifi was good, allowing me to holiday around smart-working :-)

The hot water took its time to arrive when one wanted to have a shower but when it did come through there was a copious amount of it. However, these days we are all being encouraged to try to preserve natural resources and I therefore felt bad about all the water I wasted while waiting for the hot water.

I servizi. In bagno gli asciugamani lasciavano peluzzi quando ti asciugavi. Mancava un buon flusso di acqua non si riusciva a lavarsi il viso o a farsi un bidet. Il lavandino troppo piccolo rispetto al rubinetto dell' acqua appena si provava a lavarsi il viso si sbatteva contro il rubinetto. Terribile
