This is an amazing place to stay. Monica is very dedicated to making sure her guests have everything they need.

The property is beautiful with an unbelievable view of the lake. The grounds are well maintained. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Monica is a fantastic host. She is very kind and very thoughtful. We spent our 14 year anniversary and we were welcomed with a beautiful heart shape design made from rose petals on our bed. She made our anniversary very special.

There is nothing we didn’t like about Il Torrione. In fact, we liked it so much we extended our stay.

Great base to explore the region

The place is in a lovely old pretty historic city, really lovely host , no complaints at all. If you are coming here the navigator will send you through the old town which may not be legal at some times i would guess. When you arrive there is a fountain do no turn right there, go left on the church side and up the wall a bit which should be on your left as you drive, take the first turn and then it will bring you to the arch, the hotel is just there inside as its part of the city walls. The city is big enough so there is a good choice of places to eat but later in the evening We wanted a base to explore the region and this was perfect.

The stay in this quaint cute B&B was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The views from the garden were superb, breakfast was great with lots of options and Monica was the friendliest host.

The property is situated in the castle which is a bit far to walk from the station but is manageable.

Our stay at Il Torrione

Monica, the owner is kind, sweet, very friendly and did everything she could to make our our stay pleasant. The rooms were spacious and clean. Thr location couldn't have been better. The view of the lake was beautiful and the garden was lovely. It was a relaxing , low key vacation. The bed and breakfast is centrally located right near the local shopping , just s few steps away

Fantastic little place in an amazing town. Plenty of restaurants in the actual centre, as well as a scenic walk down to the lake. The lady hosting was fantastic and provided great information and hospitality. Great value in the area as well.

We travelled here for a friend's wedding and I think we bagged the best accommodation in the town! The garden and view were incredible. Breakfast was lovely. The owner was very kind and happy to help when we needed an iron. The room was lovely and comfortable. It was just spectacular. We had a wonderful stay.

The room was very well arranged with all the facilities we needed. The garden was the reason we chose the property and it did not disappoint, quiet seating areas and the opportunity to have breakfast while enjoying a lake view.

A note re the steps to the garden and the room would have been appreciated. There are not many steps but with suitcases after a long journey it would have been good to be prepared.

The location is excellent! Our room was facing the garden with a spectacular view of the lake. The room was clean, and the bed really comfy. The lady that manage the B&B was really friendly and kind. We arrived later than the expected check in, and she accommodated our request. Super recommended.

Amazing stay in an old town but fully reworked rooms

An amazing stay in a B&B Hotel inside an old small town. We got a garden-room, fully reworked, very quiet and own garden for breakfast in the morning. For dinner we just walked some hundred meters inside this amazing town. The breakfast was amazing, nothing missed.

A garden with view right on the old city wall-incredible.

The breakfast was varied and comprehensive. Monica made coffee for us and asked if we wanted more. Fresh fruit, yogourt, cereals, breads to toast, meats and cheeses, juices and several different pastries. I mention this as I thought I had read a review that suggested the breakfast wasn't very good. It was excellent and trays were available for us to dine in the garden if we wished. What I really wanted to mention was how exquisite and unique this property is, so I don't think the photos on Booking com do it justice. A garden where you can sit in sun or shade right on the old wall was so incredible that we were thrilled from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, bright, modern and beautifully furnished. The town is a delight to meander through. Loved this place. One of the best we've found.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 gg a Castiglione del Lago in questo splendido B&B e non potevamo fare scelta migliore! La struttura è incantevole, arredata con gusto e curata nei minimi dettagli, si respira subito un'atmosfera accogliente e rilassata. La colazione è ricca con prodotti freschi, genuini e gustosi, un ottimo modo per cominciare la giornata. La proprietaria è gentilissima e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza, ci ha fatti sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Un grande plus: siamo stati accolti con i nostri 2 chihuahua, trattati con grande simpatia e attenzione. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un luogo tranquillo, curato e autentico per godersi Castiglione del Lago e i suoi dintorni!

Aufgrund des Bidet konnte man sich in unserem Zimmer nicht gerade auf‘s Klo setzen. War etwas kühl im Zimmer Ende September, was für die Nacht angenehm war, nicht aber abends.

Bello e centrale

Struttura vicinissima alla porta di ingresso, nel centro di Castiglione. Monica ci ha accolto con gentilezza ed è stata super disponibile nel darci dei consigli. La stanza era confortevole e aveva tutto il necessario (frigo, aria condizionata, prodotti bagno di qualità). Annesso alla struttura un bellissimo giardino dove fare colazione o rilassarsi.

Sarebbe un plus trovare prodotti fatti in casa o locali per la colazione.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Monica – sie war unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und flexibel. Man merkt sofort, dass ihr dieser besondere Ort am Herzen liegt. Der Torrione ist ein einzigartiger Ort – Teil der historischen Stadtmauer, mit atemberaubendem Blick über den Trasimeno-See. Die Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll renoviert und verbindet mittelalterlichen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Wir werden wiederkommen!
