This is an amazing place to stay. Monica is very dedicated to making sure her guests have everything they need.
The property is beautiful with an unbelievable view of the lake. The grounds are well maintained. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Monica is a fantastic host. She is very kind and very thoughtful. We spent our 14 year anniversary and we were welcomed with a beautiful heart shape design made from rose petals on our bed. She made our anniversary very special.
There is nothing we didn’t like about Il Torrione. In fact, we liked it so much we extended our stay.

Great base to explore the region
The place is in a lovely old pretty historic city, really lovely host , no complaints at all. If you are coming here the navigator will send you through the old town which may not be legal at some times i would guess. When you arrive there is a fountain do no turn right there, go left on the church side and up the wall a bit which should be on your left as you drive, take the first turn and then it will bring you to the arch, the hotel is just there inside as its part of the city walls. The city is big enough so there is a good choice of places to eat but later in the evening We wanted a base to explore the region and this was perfect.

Exceptional
The stay in this quaint cute B&B was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The views from the garden were superb, breakfast was great with lots of options and Monica was the friendliest host.
The property is situated in the castle which is a bit far to walk from the station but is manageable.
