My stay at Hotel Como in Italy was enjoyable overall. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and provided a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was welcoming, and the location was convenient, making it a good choice for travelers. However, there were a couple of issues worth noting. The bathroom shower was quite small, which made it difficult to move comfortably. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that in order to use the hotel’s pool, I had to pay €2.50 for a towel. Considering the cost of the stay, I believe towels should be provided as part of the service. Despite these concerns, my experience was still positive. The hotel’s cleanliness and overall quality made it a pleasant stay, and I would still recommend it with those minor considerations in mind.

Lovely hotel for a stay in Como

This is a really beautiful hotel. It is easily reached by car and has on site parking. Old Como is ten minutes walk away down a quiet street. Just far enough away from the tourist crowds. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with nice furniture. Nice breakfast room with a good choice of food to start the day. Very nice bar area on the roof which also has a very good sized pool that was never too crowded.

Free above ground parking tends to fill up quickly. You can book underground parking for a fee, which is worth it. Space can be a bit tight when it is full, or cars aren't parked considerately, so it all depends when you arrive and leave.

Spacious luxury hotel with pool area. Ideal for couples.

Room was spacious and clean. Pool facilities were lovely to have in the city and the staff at both reception and bar were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also substantial and very tasty.

Location is just a little bit far away from the main hub. We walked in and out of the centre a few times per day but would be too far for older travellers or those with families to do the same.

Hotel Como have the best hospitality treat. The staff were so friendly, every guest looks happy and comfortable. The pool is clean and the pool side is amazing for relaxing. Rooms are very clean and location is perfect to all activities. Management are excellent and will definitely lobe yo stay fay again.

Beautiful experience, in great hotel located in a most beautiful region of Italy.

Cleanliness of rooms excellent. Breakfast nicely presented with good variety of food for all tastes, Staff very helpful. Pool side snacks and drinks very good. Nice size bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe area.

Just 2 items that could improve what otherwise was a very good hotel. 1. Only 1 easy chair provided. For 2 persons a second easy chair would be useful in bedroom. 2. Be useful to have facility in the room to hang clothes for drying.

Too expensive for that you can hear everything through the walls

We only spent one night at the Hotel Como. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the air conditioning was easy to adjust and even turn off completely. Another advantage is the free parking at the hotel – if it's full, there are parking spaces opposite and in the immediate vicinity (e.g., Ippocano) for 5 euros a day. It was also great that you could borrow bikes for free. The breakfast was okay.

The biggest disadvantage, however, is the thin walls – you can hear absolutely everything through the walls: conversations, toilet flushing, ventilation systems outside the ground-floor rooms and so on even the sounds of two people having fun together.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Como

Great location. Great roof top pool and bar area. Superb breakfast. Loved our room. The air-conditioning was much needed. Wonderful staff.

The bar in reception was never operational, so not much in the form of a spot to relax out of the sun unless you were in your room. The pool bar closed at 8pm; being a roof top bar and the views being so wonderful, it was a shame. The wi-fi was slow.

Cheap and cheerful hotel

The property was clean and modern

When we checked in they originally checked us into room 511, this is not part of the main hotel and on the ground floor. The first morning we were woken up at 7:45am by building work to the outside wall out our room. There was loud banging and lots of noise. After an hour of complaining to reception they moved us to room 357 which was a much better room. The pool was lovely, however the pool bar doesn’t open until 12pm which is annoying when you want a drink at the pool. The breakfast wasn’t great at all. Bacon tasted like rubber and the eggs didn’t have any flavor

Wonderful stay near Como centre

Very friendly and helpful staff, helped us arrange taxis & directed us to a nice cafe for breakfast as we arrived before check in opened. good breakfast. About a 15-20 minute walk to the lake

Nothing fancy but ok to stay with free parking. Quiet a walk to lake como and sightseeings.

Food was good i like the selection of pastries. Room is big we stayed in family room.

We were put in the upper floor i think 4th we had to change lift as the other lift only goes to 3rd. Lift size is quiet small we used the stairs from time to time when it's busy. They attached the room key in a heavy metal not sure if because everytime you leave you have to leave your keys at the reception but it's quiet a huge and heavy metal ring to carry most of the time. There was a time my inlaw was smoking in the front door in time for our arrival for check in (inlaws already checked in) they kept asking whether she stayed with us just a bit of nuisance to be asked many times.

Great hotel in quieter area.

We had a good sized, bright room with a small balcony. Staff were very helpful (good suggestions for places to eat), and friendly. Good breakfast. Takes about 8-10 minutes to walk to the start of the old town, and then around 12 to the lakeside. It's level walking, so we were fine with that. There are some restaurants/bars close by, a particularly good one about 8 mins walk. Plenty of other places once you get to the old town. Silk museum a short walk.

All the windows in the public spaces have net curtains, so it feels a bit 'internal'. A few pots of shrubs/flowers outside by the bar area, and open curtains would make it feel more inviting. In the breakfast area (which we liked as it's spacious), it would be nicer if you could see out to the hedging by the windows at the food area.

We come here every year on our way to Tuscany I always look forward to this stop over , The facilities are great, the breakfast outstanding and if you sit up in the evening on the pooldeck you will be looked after by Gaetano! What a very special person! In fact all members of the staff are super friendly! All of them have been working at Hotel Como for ever and a day!

A pleasent stay with lovely staff

The room was a good size, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar /terrace was nice and the pool looked lovely but we arrived too late to try it out!

The breakfast had a wide range of choices which was great but some of the food was not as good as we had hoped.

We should have just eaten the money and left immediately we entered the room.

Swimming pool and bar on roof. Availability of parking. Breakfast was OK, but that is not a meal that is particularly important to us. Location was decent, about a 15-20 minute walk to the southeast shore of the lake.

The room was APPALLING. It was small, gloomy, claustrophobic and stuffy, with tiny windows facing on to a busy street. The twin beds were lined up against a single wall. The bathroom was narrow and awkward. And there was no shower curtain. The staff at the front desk... a particularly mirthless woman, who greeted us with "Well you only paid for a standard room, so you can have number 124." It is inconceivable that this could be a "Booking.com" favorite pick. You guys need to rethink this one.

Our superior room was very clean and a good size. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar were a real asset.

Only issue was a 20 minute walk to the lakeside but this was minor in comparison to the hotel facilities on offer.
