Clean, comfortable but restaurant was shut at the weekend.

The hotel was fine. It was as expected. The bed was really comfortable and a fan was provided.

The stairs were very steep and marble - dangerous. The check in wasn’t manned so we had to call and get a code for a key box. The worst thing was we picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and bar - the listing didn’t tell us it was closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and those were the days we were staying. They needed to make that clear in the description.

Uitstekend voor mijn doel: een plek om te slapen en te ontbijten. Verder stelt Zelzate niks voor.

Precies wat ik nodig had: 12 m2 om te slapen en een goed ontbijt. Dat laatste kon al vanaf 06.00 uur! Waar vind je dat nog? Het hotel is sterk gericht op single gasten, die daar verblijven tijdens een meerdaagse klus.

Geen airco, dus snoeihete kamer (op de eerste verdieping). Na inspectie bleek er nog een ventilator in de kast te zijn, maar die kon natuurlijk niet op tegen 38 graden.... Raam open had geen zin, want daar liepen gasten buitenom over het dak van de benedenverdieping naar een buitentrap naar kamers op de verdieping boven mij: 100 % inkijk en idem instap in mijn kamer mogelijk.

Te duur

Zeer goede locatie van dit hotel, centrum Zelzate. Koffie en thee is vrij te krijgen, ook op de kamer vind je deze faciliteiten. Hotel heeft een klein tuintje, toegankelijk voor iedereen. Fietsen mochten in de gang gestalled worden. Een grote plus voor het vriendelijke personeel!

Ontbijt was 15€ pp maar stelde eigenlijk niet zo heel veel voor. Ik denk dat wij de enige gasten waren. Produkten waren van Everyday Colruyt. Niet minderwaardig maar was leuk geweest ze in een ander jasje te steken dan de originele verpakking. Geen plaats om fietsen te stallen al mochten we ze wel in de gang zetten dus dit is ook een plus. Hotel is zeer verouderd maar wel schoon.. 170€ per nacht voor 2p, incl ontbijt is echt veel te veel.

Für einen Kurztrip nach Zelzate vollkommen in Ordnung.

Für einen Geburtstag suchten wir eine Unterkunft in der Nähe. Dafür war das Hotel völlig ok. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, nettes Personal und unkompliziertes Einchecken.

Es gab keine großen Highlights, aber auch nichts zu meckern.

Vrij prijzig voor de restaurant, parkeergelenheid en kamer verhouding, ook iet wat verouderd. Bedden waren goed, eten was ook goed.
