AKKA Lush Hotel Taksim

we ordered a balcony room which was very nice. most of the staff was very accommodating.

air conditioning in the room didn't work when we arrived and it took 2 days to get it repaired. and with it being very warm, to leave the balcony door open allowed flies to come in, thankfully by end of day 2 it was repaired. also, I didn't like that I was charged for the entire stay when we checked in, I understood like all other hotels, we were charged at the end of our stay so I felt we didn't have any options as they offered another room due to air conditioning not working, but the balconies didn't compare to the deluxe balcony room that we paid for.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location. close to public transport. Clean and comfortable room. Nice amenities. Helpful luggage hold.

No real view but that wasn’t important to me. (Rooftop restaurant had view. ) Spa staff were very nice but spa is very small.

Delicious breakfast and dinner. Lovely staff and helpful when asked. I loved the style and layout of the room. I was pleased with my balcony and being away from the lift area of the hall

It’s so noisy. I did not have a good nights sleep at all. Sirens and beeping for most of the night. I later learnt that it is located beside a hospital hence the constant ambulance noises. My room was right under the restaurant and the banging and dragging of chairs woke me up early morning and late night. The slamming of doors in the halls was awful and the echo of people speaking. The phones in my room kept ringing for 1 second every 15 mins even plugged out of the sockets. When I took a shower a very strong smell of cigarettes was lingering the whole time. The shower doors were so bad and kept getting stuck had to use a lot of force to open and close, also very dark.
