I enjoyed my 4 nights stay in this hotel, every thing was okay. Stuff are very nice, they let us keep our baggage in the hotel even after our booking finished, they clean the room every day. The location is 2 minutes walking from maydan taksim. The hotel is old but everything else is fine.

The staff was not cooperative at all and bit rude . Cleanliness and other entitled facilities were compromised . Keys were not working and needed to be renewed everyday .

Good room. Elevator is veryyy small. Their bfast is good enough ( veg was limited)good tea and good view from breakfast and room. Good location as its very close to taksim square & metro. I do recommend

I strongly do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel is in extremely poor condition and clearly has not been renovated in years. The furniture is worn out, the beds creak with every movement, and the mattresses are visibly stained. During our three-day stay, the towels were not changed even once, which is completely unacceptable. The breakfast is repetitive and low quality. It is exactly the same every day, with very limited selection and nothing worth mentioning. Most importantly, the hotel does not match reasonable expectations of a hotel stay. While the room is labeled as a “Basement Room”, this wording seriously understates the actual conditions. In reality, it is located on a minus second floor, completely without windows. The room is damp, has a strong mold smell, and poor ventilation. This level appears to include technical and utility areas, with guest rooms placed among them. It feels unsuitable for proper accommodation and more like a service basement than a hotel. The soundproofing is extremely poor. You can clearly hear everything from neighboring rooms. In addition, the noise from outside is unbearable, especially at night. It feels as if the windows are always open. There are constant ambulance sirens, as well as crowds of people shouting and making noise late into the night. It is almost impossible to get proper sleep. The staff attitude made everything worse. We arrived about two hours early, but the receptionist showed no willingness to help or even check availability. He simply told us to wait until exactly 2:00 PM. When the time came, no one informed us, so I had to approach him myself. The receptionist behaved in a rude, dismissive, and arrogant manner. Instead of assisting, he pointed downwards, implying it was my fault. The communication was disrespectful and unprofessional. I do not remember his name because by the time I checked out, I had no desire to even ask. I just wanted to leave this place as quickly as possible. When I asked about a refund, he told me to contact the booking platform, refusing to take any responsibility on the hotel’s side. I also tried to resolve the issue through Agoda, but the process was overly complicated and I was only getting automated responses, which did not help resolve the situation. I asked for a discount due to the situation, but he refused. When I tried to speak to a manager, he raised his voice and insisted that I deal only with him, effectively blocking any escalation. I refused to stay in the basement room. The only solution offered was to move to a normal floor for an additional charge. Even after paying extra, we were given a room directly opposite a staff or utility area, which was still far from comfortable. In other words, you are expected to pay extra just to receive minimally acceptable living conditions. I originally considered extending my stay if everything had been at least acceptable, but after this experience, I simply wanted those three days to end as quickly as possible. Overall, this reflects poor management, lack of accountability, and disregard for basic hospitality standards.
