Rejuvenating 4 night stay. Good for couples.

Old fairytale style hotel residence build up & into the cliff face at the northern end of Finale Ligure with a labyrinth of paths & stairways taking you multiple ways to & from your guest suite. Staff are very friendly & take the time to chat which makes you feel welcome. The views from the Breakfast terrace are breathtaking, even on a cloudy day. Don’t miss the Cave! You have to book your 30 minute slot & if you’re only staying a night or two do it before you arrive. We enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi & we’re fascinated by the 18 metre spiral staircase to access it from the top terrace. The pool terrace was something out of a Hollywood movie & we really enjoyed our afternoon’s away from the crowds. Breakfast is plentiful & the most difficult thing to do is avoid temptation of the daily freshly baked cakes & pastries. We chose not to dine in the restaurant as opening hours are from 8pm & we are early eaters, even in holidays but a simple pasta for lunch under the shady trees on the terrace was delicious.

To start with the lack of privacy from our terrace, as our room was opposite the restaurant & faced the breakfast terrace, however other guests are respectful & we didn’t end up feeling uncomfortable at all. We also had a speaker directly under our terrace wall & could hear music in our room from 8am until 10:30pm. The music was accidentally left on by the restaurant staff on our first night so I called reception at 11:30 & it was turned off within 15 minutes. To put my comments into perspective we live on Acreage & don’t have neighbours, so any noise takes getting used to.

A Beautiful and Memorable Stay at Hotel Punta Est

Hotel Punta Est is truly a gem in Finale Ligure. The setting is breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and a peaceful, elegant atmosphere. The entire place feels thoughtfully designed, full of charm and character. The staff were especially kind and welcoming, always making an effort to create a pleasant experience. From check-in to dinner service, I felt well taken care of. It’s a place where you can really disconnect and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

While the overall experience was excellent, a couple of details could be improved. During dinner and breakfast, I was approached by several different staff members — sometimes up to five — which led me to repeat the same information multiple times. Each spoke in a different language, which, although impressive, made the communication slightly confusing. Additionally, I would have appreciated having coffee available at the breakfast buffet or self-service, rather than waiting for table service, which sometimes came with delays.

Nice, luxurious weekend getaway

The greenery and the views from the hotel Nice and comfy room. Clean. Friendly employees Parking at the entry is great 5 min from the beach (take your water-shoes) as beach has stones in the front

Poorly soundproofed rooms (had room close to the breakfast location) and no sleeping in Wish we would have gotten an introduction to the facilities (e.g. breakfast and dinner times +locations but also that there is a heated pool, a place to play pool and apparently a jaccuzi that we didnt see) Parking from the back side was a bit more difficult to find and there were narrow streets you have to go through.

Excellent quality - you get what you pay for...

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, everyone able to speak several different languages (at least two, sometimes even more). Cleaning staff was thorough and friendly. The room was very nice with a balcony and sufficient equipment (aircon, fridge, etc.). Exceptional location with an awesome view over the beach and sea at the breakfast/dinner location, nice breeze up on the hill and easy to access if you don't mind walking a few steps up the hill. Food in the restaurant was very good.

Food was very good but dinner menu was sometimes a bit repetitive (if you're staying longer than a few days). Charging 20 Euro per night for a baby bed without giving any information in advance was exorbitant and unprofessional - we were staying 7 nights and could have bought 3 new baby beds of that quality for the same money (especially considering that we had a baby bed with us and would have used that one had we known in advance).

AMAZING.

The location and structure are "fantasy-like": views of the whole coast, pathways set in green vegetation that bring you from facility to facility. Staff was amazing, always friendly and at your disposal. Dinner and breakfast served in an amazing terrace. Spa located in a cave!!!!!!

Paradise on earth! One of the best holidays we’ve had!

This is an amazing place, paradise on hearth! Beautiful place and amazing staff. Glorious views of the sea from the hotel terraces and rooms, cuisine is exquisite too! We used the hotel bikes for a ride to Finale Borgo and was one of the highlights of the visit. Everybody was so friendly with our little dog Luna.

We would have appreciated more guidance from the hotel on beaches, as for example we were not able to get umbrellas/chairs as everything was fully booked. At night the street noise was heard in the room (ie people shouting, motorcycles, garbage collector) al thought not sure anything can be done about it, probably the Price to other for being well located.

Hotel mit italienischem Charme und wunderschönem Garten mit Aussicht aufs das Meer

Es war super, das Hotel ist oben auf einem Aussichtspunkt, man sieht auf das Meer aus dem Zimmer. Beim Frühstück sitzt man unter Bäumen mit Aussicht aufs Meer. Frühstück war grossartig, gute Qualität, frische Säfte, Eierspeisen, Büffet, selbstgemachte Kuchen.Hotelanlage sind mehrere renovierte gepflegte Häuser, die über 100 Jahre alt sind mit traumhaftem Garten und Pool , schön renoviert und trotzdem spürt man den italienischen Charme. Wellnessbereich in einer alten Höhle, sehr besonders.Abendessen war sehr gut, frische Pasta, Fisch vom Tag. Eigentümer Familie und Personal sehr freundlich, super nett. Ein Ort zum sich wohlfühlen. Der Ort ist bekannt für Bike Sport, auch im Hinterland ist alles top organisiert mit Bike Touren.

Magnifique!

L’hôtel est magnifiquement placé vue sur la mer depuis les hauteurs. Les chambres sont propres et très bien entretenues. Le petit-déjeuner est diversifié (salé sucré fruits) avec du choix pour les intolérants au gluten. Les boissons chaudes sont servies à table. Le personnel est avenant. Super. Il y a plusieurs parking sur la propriété à disposition pour les résidents de l’hôtel.

Les désagréments s’effacent avec le lieu et le personnel.

Grazie mille

Lieu merveilleux, pour ne pas dire idyllique. Le bruit des vagues, le chants des oiseaux, une vue imprenable sur la mer et l'horizon. Une végétation luxuriante, pleine de couleurs. Le repas tout comme le petit déjeuner était à s'en ravire les papilles, sur cette splendide terasse, sous la canopé, au milieu des fleurs, face à la mer. Un pur dépaysement, super pour se resourcer.

Idyllisch gelegen hotel met uitstekende keuken en heel vriendelijk personeel.

Wij hadden een mooi terras aan onze kamer maar door het lawaai van een afzuigkap of dergelijke was het niet echt aangenaam om er te verblijven. We hebben ons er niet aan gestoord omdat op het terras aan de bar en restaurant ook erg fijn verblijven was.
