Hotel am Markt is NOT a HOTEL.

The breakfast was good, Having the ability to refill my coffee and tea would have been better rather than relying on the waiting staff to bring to you during busy times. The "hotel" location was great right in the market square as long as you do not mind some noise and crowds. Rooms were adequately clean and comfortable. A good 2 star facility no frills.

If you want to call yourselves a "Hotel" then be one. You are a BnB that pretends to be a hotel. No staff to welcome you, no person to hand you your keys and pretty standard BnB system. You can blame Covid if you wish but greed is a better term I use. Less staff less expenses more profits. We asked if you have a safe place to safely lock our bikes for the night and the reply was yes indeed " you can use our protected yard". Instead you told us to lock our expensive e-bikes outside the hotel door in the rain.

Parking is a bit of a hike uphill from the hotel, but worth it.

Good value, would stay again

very nice room in great location. Amazing breakfast. Arrived early and left bags, staff had taken them to our third floor room when we returned, much appreciated. Fifteen minute walk to train station.

excellent hotel in a fabulous location

we stayed here for 2 nights over New year, location was excellent our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous lots of choice and was replenished frequently. I would definitely like to return to this hotel.

There is no lift and this could be a problem for some people, as our rooms where on the 4th floor.

Fresh, modern hotel right in the middle of Cochem

The deluxe rooms facing the square were amazing - huge, with a sofa. Everything was clean and modern. Breakfast was lovely. They also sent exact parking location address and instructions. Google maps will take you right there, then it's just a short walk down the hill.

Weather cooperated but lack of AC could be issue, or lack of lift for some.

Amazing!

Directly in the city center, staff are so kind and friendly, we got a bigger room as we booked just because it was not being used, really amazing. The breakfast is delicious! The bad comfortable, everything perfect.

The parking place is a little bit far away from the hotel, but it isn't a real problem since you can stop the car in front of the hotel to take of your luggage. For us not bad, but there are no elevator.

Very convenient and scenic location at the markt square. Short walk to the train station. One street away from the river promenade. Short distance to the castle. Surrounded by nice restaurants and the 24x7 very well equipped vending store Anton. The room was very comfortable and clean. Good bed. The church bells are very loud in the morning but that is just how it is for the whole area, nothing hotel specific. Very friendly and helpful staff. Give us an extra hour to check out.

Glass bathroom door with fogged out texture. Slightly uncomfortable when you are not alone in the room. But seems to be a trend in hotels everywhere now.

We hadden een super verblijf

Hele aardige mensen, midden in het centrum en hele schone kamers. Bedden lagen goed en de douche was super. Heerlijk ontbijt die met liefde werd gemaakt.

Het licht was erg ongezellig. Wellicht een kleine tip voor sfeerverlichting. Onze auto was te groot voor de parkeerplaats alleen een stukje verderop bij Bahnhof konden we voor 3,- per dag parkeren.

Perfekte Lage, tolles Frühstück, super Service – wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das vielfältige Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlte sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter!

Erg goed hotel. Zeer fijne bedden. Kamers keurig schoon. Personeel erg vriendelijk! Ontbijt zeer compleet en lekker. En dat alles op een sublieme locatie. Al met al zeer zekerde moeite waard en wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Kamer lag op de derde verdieping, geen lift, als je de raam opende dan zag je een klein koertje m, als het personeel ging roken, kwam de geur in de kamer.

Dik in orde en het ontbijt is subliem!

Het ontbijt was echt dik in orde! Afgebakken broodjes, lekker beleg - zelfs makreel, gerookte en gekruide zalm -, eitjes, cake, fruitsap. Er was echt enorm veel keuze. De ene dag konden we roerei (met of zonder spek) kiezen, de andere dag was er spek apart met spiegeleitjes. Tof dat daarin ook gewisseld wordt! De kamer was in orde en proper. Check-in was vlot want dit konden we zelf doen en het personeel was vriendelijk. Ze deden hun best om ons een welkom gevoel te geven.

Het enige minpuntje aan het hele verblijf was eigenlijk de koffie - maar we waren dan ook met koffiedrinkers op baan. Die was jammer genoeg heel flets en gaf ons niet de kick die we nodig hadden om onze dag te starten. Maar echt: dat is het énige minpuntje voor ons.
