Unforgettable

The place itself is stunning..with an old windmill right in the yard and a few meters ahead a restaurant with local food (not to mention the beer made by the host of this accommodation). The hosts were just amazing. They received us with a warm welcome and a homemade jar of jam and treated us as family. They showed us around their charming mill and were very kind with us from start till departure. We will definitely go back there because it was not just a stay, it was a heartwarmimg life experience. Thanks for everything!

The apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. Sandra and Joel were lovely people and very welcoming. It was great sitting on the balcony looking over the working windmill.

We would like to come back

We had a fantastic stay here!💗 The flat is fully equipped and the kitchen has absolutely everything, including even such things as salt, petter, spices, oil, vinegar and so on, so rare in rented flats. The beds are very comfortable, the We were welcomed with 2 bottles of cold water, it saved us after driving in hot weather. The hosts are very welcoming and nice, we really felt home. The windmill of course makes this place unique and so beautiful. We loved to watch the horses, to have a cup of tea on the small terrace, to relax in this calm and charming place. Before the departure the hosts showed us their garage with the retro cars they have! Right in the next building there is a nice restaurant, I'm the surroundings there are 3 supermarkets, few restaurants and bars. The location is convenient to visit Gent, Bruges, Antwerpen and the sea-side of course. I hope to come back again!

Absolutely wonderful stay in a lovely setting with friendly and welcoming hosts. So fun to see the ponies and the windmill, and to have such easy access to Ghent. Easily the best place we have stayed on booking.com, and so great for the kids. Comfortable and warm. Thank you so much.

Just perfect! We hope to be back.

This is fantastic place to stay. It was for us more like visiting grandparents than apartment rental. Sandra and Johan are fantastic hosts, very nice and kind. Working windmill in the garden, which they will happily show you, Johans oldtimer cars and tractors, horses and playful dog Maxi are assets you will rarely find in one place. Cherries, their own beer and homemade apple cake Sandra shared with us were also perfect. Our kids enjoyed it as well with go-carts races in the garden and all things around. Simply we had great time here and we hope to be back.
