A great place to stay for 10 days when visiting Belgium

Great location-so close to the T3- tram and Carrefour Spacious and comfortable for 2 couples Clean Well appointed Great having codes instead of keys Owner was very responsive Having a washing machine and dishwasher was very convenient

One bedroom has no door so privacy is a bit of a problem especially as the closets extended into that room. Some nights there was a lot of street noise and due to the construction across the street that sometimes continued late into the night We had a big issue with mosquitos. Despite keeping windows and doors closed and spraying we had biting mosquitoes in every room. We asked the owner to furnish a broom and dustpan as there was no way to sweep up messes.

Great apartment..needs tweaking.

Interesting, modern, comfortable and cool apartment in a nice quiet area with an amazing park near by. The city is easily accessed via Tram or city bike or ebike hire. Supermarket next door.

Would benefit from a clothes washine machine. There should be a table and chairs on the terrace .. maybe even a hammock? Very few power sockets for such a big apartment. The smaller bedroom had none!

Great place to relax or explore from

Great location to use as a base to not only explore Ghent itself (tram stop was only a few minutes walk away), but also the surrounding area in Belgium. It was also really handy having a supermarket and a chemist a couple of doors away. The area and the apartment itself was nice and quiet and had everything we needed during the stay. It was nice being able to park the car securely behind the apartment but also great that there were plenty of electric charge points just a few minutes walk away when we needed to charge it up. Ghent itself was well worth a visit. We bought the Gent card that gave access to most attractions and free public transport which I'd definitely recommend. Although beware that not all attractions were open every day which meant that we had to change our plans at the last minute when we found out that where we were planning to go was closed that day.

The apartment was a bit more open plan than we'd expected, with no doors for the bedrooms. It wasn't a problem, but just a bit of a shock for our teenagers who like to be able to get their privacy. For some reason most of the pans were for induction hobs and didn't work. We were able to work around it. but it did seem a bit odd having them there if you couldn't use them.

Comfortable apartment

Very nice apartment near the tram station. The tram goes right to the city center, so it is very simple to get into Gent. There is also a supermarket right around the corner. There is a good parking spot in the backyard.

The entry to the backyard under the building is a bit narrow, so it might be challenging with bigger cars to enter.

Anthony was a good host and the apartment as such can be recommended.

The wifi connection was good enough for us. The smart tv also allowed us to log into our own online accounts, e.g. Netflix. The shower itself had good water pressure and temperature. There is plenty of cupboard space! The apartment is within walking distance from the end station of one of the tram lines into the city if you don't want to drive in.

The apartment itself is very modern from an architectural point of view. A little too modern für our taste, but more than adequate for short stay. We didn't like the fact that neither of the bedrooms had doors. Also that the shower / sink area, which together make the bathroom, is very open and is pretty much a walk through corridor. We didn't like the quality or comfort of the sofa or the dining table., which didn't have adequate seating. It might be time to update the furniture? Anthony the host was very polite and helpful. Thank you Anthony P.S. A couple of things that didn't bother us, but which might be interesting to some people reading this: The apparent does have free parking at the rear of the building. This is good, but it may be interesting to note that the access though the automatic gate is fairly narrow if you have a big car. Parking in the street in front of the house wasn't a problem whilst we were there. This was free and more comfortable for us. Also access up to the 2nd floor apartment is via quite a narrow, fairly steep staircase with a few tight turns going up. This didn't bother us, but might be useful to know if you have big cases as the stairs are narrow. You will need to take care that you don't bang the walls. There is no lift. The apartment is a way out of town in a residential area that has limited choice of restaurants or shops near by. The neighborhood was noisier, mostly traffic, than we expected, but we didn't feel unsafe or anything like that. The right hand window in the living room was defect. Someone came very quickly to view this and we were told it would be fixed the next day, but it wasn't. Hopefully it will be before your visit :-)

Apartment was impeccable, supermarket is just round the corner. A short walk to the tram that takes you into Ghent town.

Good location for work visit to Site Zwijnaarde.

Very good communication with the host, access was easy. As I travelled to work and had to be at the Site Zwijnaarde - Onderzoek it was a convenient location for me. However it is a bit far from the city centre if you consider it a location for casual sightseeing. There is a tram that goes from the location to the city centre but it does take 30-40 minutes depending on the traffic (which apparently can be quite substantial in Ghent).

There was a bit of a sewage smell coming from the shower drain and since the bathroom is an open space just next to the bedroom (which is also open) the smell couldn't be contained.

Een fijne plek (& uitvalsbasis) voor ons in Gent tijdens ziekenhuisopname van mijn vader!

Het is een hele fijne, warme en moderne plek. Zeker de kwaliteit-prijsverhouding is erg goed. Het is schoon, er is veel ruimte en makkelijk toegankelijk. Voor ons was het een fantastische plek om te verblijven. Mijn vader lag plotseling in het ziekenhuis (IC en daarna Cardiologie) en het is 8/10 minuten van het AZ Maria Middelares ziekenhuis. Een fijn idee dat we er snel en makkelijk konden. Daarnaast kan je je auto veilig parkeren achter een hek + gratis parkeren op straat (handig voor mijn zus). Ook is er naast het appartement een supermarkt (Carrefour); ideaal!

Er is weinig bestek en kookgerei aanwezig. De thermosstaat wisselt soms van temperatuur. Bij aankomst was het 29 graden. Geen ramp allemaal hoor, maar omdat het vloerverwarming is; duurt de verandering wat lang. Ook dit is geen ramp, maar de badkamer lekt soms.

Mooie studio om te verblijven als koppel, maar niet voor 2 collega's.

De studio was erg mooi ingericht en het was erg proper.

We kregen deze studio ter vervanging van een appartement met 2 slaapkamers... terwijl men gezegd had dat het 'vervangende appartement' gewoon wat kleiner was dan het origineel geboekte. Nu hebben we met 2 collega's moeten slapen in een 2 persoonsbed dat in dezelfde ruimte stond als douche en toilet terwijl die zelfs geen deur hadden. Op zich is dat 'als koppel' waarschijnlijk geen probleem. Maar met een collega is het wel heel erg close.

Insgesamt trotz der beschriebenen Sachverhalte schöner Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist natürlich nicht Gent-City, aber die Tram bringt einen in 25 Minuten zum Vogelmarkt. Das Rauschen der Autobahn könnte bei offenen Fenstern nachts stören. Die Vermieter kommunizieren gut und schnell.

Die Wohnung ist in einigen Punkten wirklich sehr minimalistisch. Das zweite Schlafzimmer mit dem Stockbett hat keine Türe. Auch das Badezimmer kann nicht von beiden Seiten geschlossen werden, die Dusche ist dann zudem exponiert. Also nur eine Wohnung für Familien und die Kinder sollten nicht luchtempfindlich sein. Bei uns war ein Stuhl defekt. Der Vermieter konnte die nötige Reparatur nicht vornehmen. Also saßen beim Frühstück drei Leute auf einer Bank an einem runden Tisch - unbefriedigend. Zudem spartanische Küchenausstattung. Gute Pfanne, Brotmesser und Pfannenwender bitte selber mitbringen. Dass ein Fön nicht enthalten ist, habe ich übersehen.

Je recommande cet appartement

La qualité des équipements et du mobilier de l’appartement est très bonne. L’emplacement de parking et la sécurité d’accès sont des atouts supplémentaires.

L’insonorisation. Malgré le voisinage bruyant, les chambres donnent sur la rue, ce qui les rend assez bruyantes à cause du passage des véhicules.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem großzügigen Loft nahe Gent

Le bruit de la rue dans les chambres qui sont toutes les 2 côté rue. Pas de moustiquaire à l'arrière (côté jardin où il fait calme) pour aérer, on a eu très chaud.

Superbe appartement. Excellent rapport qualité/prix . A recommmander

L’appartement est superbe et très confortable. Propreté impeccable. Les explications et les contacts avec l’hôte ont été parfaits. L’emplacement en dehors du centre de Gand a l’avantage de présenter un parking gratuit, même si lors de notre séjour quelqu’un a occupé l’emplacement qui nous était réservé… pas de chance. Supermarché, pharmacie et arrêt de tram à proximité immédiate. Idéal pour un séjour en famille.

Quelques verres et fourchettes supplémentaires seraient utiles.

Усе було відмінно окрім того що до душової кабіни можна зайти з двох сторін, і одна з цих сторін ніяк не зачиняється.

Ціна на сайті стояла 70. А примітка про податки була сіренька та непомітна . Податки склали 90 євро. Помешкання чудове, але ми не готові були платити 160 євро за добу.Наступного разу будемо уважними.

Guter und sicherer Parkplatz. Bequeme Sofas im großen Wohnzimmer. Gute Lage, um Gent zu besuchen.

Gut, dass keine Nachbarn darüber gibt. Und gut, dass an einem Tag die Nachbarn darinter zwar laut waren, aber dann ab ca. 22:30 Ihr leise waren.

Il n'y a pas de portes pour bien séparer/isoler les deux chambres La cafetière ne fonctionnait pas : nous avons loupé notre premier petit dej ! et acheté du café lyophilisé (alors que nous avions apporté les bonne capsules) Les mugs étaient collants dans le placard : donc pas bien lavés Trop peu de couverts pour faire plusieurs repas et bien utiliser le lave-vaisselle Les voisins du dessous faisaient un drôle de trafic et du bruit tard le soir Côté chambres il y a eu des travaux de BTP très bruyants dès 7h du matin Une terrasse sans mobilier pour en profiter La partie chambre avec le lit deux places sans lumière de chevet : obligés de se lever pour éteindre Nous avons dû acheter des piles pour la télécommande de la TV Cela fait vraiment beaucoup :(

Moderne inrichting, veel licht. Eigen parkeerruimte en maar 10 min naar Gent. Ligt naast een grote supermarkt.

Rioollucht in badkamer. Deuren echt sluiten anders ruik je het door heel appartement . Iets te weinig handdoeken en theedoeken. Toegangsdeur parkeerplek gaat moeizaam open. Moesten vaker achter elkaar code intoetsen en de controller van playstation kon je niet opladen.

Schönes Appartement in ruhiger Lage, nahe Gent.

Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet, wenn man es schlicht mag. In ruhiger Lage und trotzdem nahe Gent, mit direkter Supermarktnähe, hat es uns an nichts gefehlt.

Das Etagenbett (oben) ist für einen 16jährigen Jungen zu wackelig. Auch der Esstisch wackelt ziemlich. Für beides haben wir eine Lösung gefunden, so dass auch dies einem schönen Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch getan hat.

Aanrader!

Het appartement is ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor ons was het allerbelangrijkste: het was perfect schoon. Daarnaast is het fijn dat er een privé parkeerplaats is en je bent binnen 10 minuten met de auto in Gent. Zeker een aanrader! Wij zouden hier zeker weer terugkomen!

De oven was niet schoon en de kussens lagen voor ons niet comfortabel. Maar verder een fijn verblijf dat we zeker aanraden!

Ruimte , alles was aanwezig. Rustig gelegen Alles was proper. Enkel zat er aan de buitenkant van 1van de 2 slaapkamer ramen een bijennest . Vermoedelijk leeg/oud .

Een leuk gezellig appartement!l

Het appartement was heel proper en had een leuk terras....en het had een uitstekende ligging! Mijn zoon moest een ingreep ondergaan in het UZ....en dat was maar 2.6 km om er naartoe te gaan. Een carrefour 50 m er vandaan...super gemakkelijk.

Het verwonderde me dat alles binnen zo proper was en het terras vuil...het was prachtig weer...dus we hebben erop gezeten! Het keukengerief was beperkt...we waren met 3 en we hadden maar 2 waterglazen...en geen doek om af te wassen!
