About this apartment rental
Our New Haven at the Mayflower condominium is located in a calm upscale residential area just outside of Ghent city center at walking distance from a fresh bakery, 2 gas station shops and many supermarkets, medical centers and other shops further along the main road. Our newly renovated and redecorated 1-Bedroom service flat is quietly located at the end of the hallway at ground floor level, with a sizable patio exposed to the South and with Garden view. The spacious rooms (total 700 Sqft) are equipped with modern new furniture with all natural colors and a tropical touch (and a nautical theme at the entrance to coincide with the Mayflower) to ensure a most comfortable and relaxing stay.

This apartment was fantastic and exactly what I had expected from the photos online. It is situated only a short tram ride from the city centre. The property was clean, well organised and had all the equipment we needed.The check in was not as straightforward as I had thought as there was no person on reception as we went to check in (as stated on the instructions). As the property is part of a suite of retirement apartments.Having said that, the experience of staying there was superb. The apartment was very spacious, we were able to relax, cook meals in the kitchen, eat them outside on the patio and watch tv, play music (not too loud!) etc. The shower/changing room was good and the bed was very comfortable.I am not sure about the swimming pool as we didn't make use of any of the other facilities on the grounds, I am not sure how we would access these, but could have contacted the owner if needed.
