The place was very clean, cosy, and at an excellent location.

The narrow steep stairs to the flat were a bit of a hassle, and having to park my car far away was a bit unexpected.

Great base for our stay in Ghent

It was a great place to stay. It is a nice space and has loads of helpful bits for young kids (high chair, toilet seat, step, cot etc). It worked very well for our family of 4

Blinds were tricky to use on the second bedroom and kitchen windows and the stairs up to the apartment are steep (but manageable). These were very small things overall!

Great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: the appartment is really close too the main sights, and yet in a quite street. It's spacious and well equipped, modern and clean. In particular, I have to say I have rarely had such a comfortable bad in a holiday flat!

As very clearly pointed out in the description, the stairs are very steep and narrow. So you need to be okay with "challanging stairs". And in summer, it might be important to note that there is no air-conditioning (also mentioned in the description).

Unloading a little tricky as we struggled to find street parking near by on arrival - but I think that being a Sunday afternoon it was possibly a busy time to arrive as most people are parked at home.

Only window to open in kitchen. Bathroom without ventilation / window. Few things turn of automatically like shower (30 seconds...) and heating every few hours. So you had to switch on heating many times a day and of course first thing in the morning when appartment was cold. We found the apparment too cold but were told we are the first ones to complain.

Great time at Wouter and Veronique's place!!

Wouter, the home owner who was extremely kind and attentive, provided all details of the apartment and also gave us valuable advice to stay and enjoy at Gent!! The apartment, very comfortable, well equipped -nothing was missing-, luminous and clean, good beds, good bathroom with devices to save water, and the living room with a large TV screen.

wonderful time spent in a wonderful location.

The location was very close to Downtown, rooms were large and luminous, with the door codes, it was easy to get in and out.

Access stairs were a little narrow and hard to get with a big luggage, but considering it was only once it was not an issue.

Modern extremely comfortable apartment, in a cobbled street and city

Top class apartment easily within walking distance of the city centre, a city that has taken the very positive step of eliminating through traffic. (Wish more cities would do this) The lack of traffic means that the city, as well as the cobbled street this apartment is in, was noticeably quiet and a pleasure to walk around. The apartment has all the facilities and items required to make a stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The fixtures and fitting were modern with no property owners Knick Knacks cluttering up surfaces!

Son said the Wifi was a bit weak in the second bedroom, but as he didn't pay for the holiday, tough luck :-)

Fabulous and very clean

Super friendly hosts and fabulous apartment! Check in was really easy with the door codes and the apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed including coffee (yey!!). Great location and very spacious/comfortable, everything was great :)

The only minor thing is this apartment is definitely built for tall people which is usually a bonus, however at 5'2 my friend and I couldn't even close the blinds hahaha maybe there can be a stick for future? lol!!

lovely apartment in a great walking location to explore the beautiful city of Ghent.

Lovely property not far from the centre of Ghent. It suited our family, even though after a long day of walking the narrow stairs could be a challenge. very clean, good quality furnishings, had information leaflets of the area in lots of languages ( great idea) . we could watch Netflix ( great when the kids just wanted to chill) in English which means a lot.

We did get a parking ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street signs- our fault, but just be aware

Great place to come back, every time we are in Ghent.

Knowing the city myself as I grew up, the location of the property is very well situated to get by foot to the city center. We loved the modern look of the appartment,..minimalist how it should be. The children loved the bunkbed. Great set-up,..everything you need. 2 sleepingrooms, bathroom, kitchen with a big dining table and sofa /chill-area - with a lot of light!

The sink in the bathroom had some issues.

the only negative is that the apartment does not provide elevator so it is difficult for a family with a baby.

The lights switches were weird and the fact that is last floor with some walls sloping was not confortable . The mattress of main bedroom were super soft which mean they were not confortable, mainly for elderly people.

The location was really good and the house was well prepared for guest, all furniture had a label with what was inside, there were some maps as well.

Fin leilighet utenom myggsesongen. Om man ikke vil ha kløende myggstikk overalt, bør en holde seg unna på sommeren.

Fin leilighet med god beliggenhet. Bortsett fra noe skittent bestikk i skuffen var det rent. Den bratte trappen opp til leiligheten var ikke optimal,men det gikk greit for oss. Svært gode senger.

Problemet var manglende myggnett på det ene soverommet, og manglende aircondition. Vi fikk myggstikk tett i tett over hele kroppen, og ble i tillegg holdt våkne av naboer i gata som snakket høyt på verandaen til langt på natt. Det var varmt og den ene viften virket ikke, vi måtte ha vinduene oppe. Myggnettet bør fikses snarest. Når det ikke er varmt ute er dette nok et fint sted å bo. Vær obs på at man må betale turistskatt direkte til stedet i tillegg til prisen på booking.com.

La atención del anfitrión, la ubicación, la calidez del apartamento. Wouter nos ayudó en todo lo necesario, incluso con nuestro equipaje. El departamento está equipado con más de lo necesario, hermosa vajilla, ollas y demás artefactos de cocina. La iluminación es hermosa.

Es para tener en cuenta que son dos pisos por escalera, de todos modos hay un lugar abajo para dejar las maletas y si tienes una maleta pequeña no habrá problema con las escaleras.
