excellent stay in a spacious wel equipped studio in a perfect location.

Even with retrieving keys from the key box, there was a reception with very friendly accommodating people present, ready to help with everything. Perfect location straight in the centre of the city. very spacious and light studio, fully equipped kitchen, has every furnishings ,to make a fully cooked meal, which is not everywhere the case. in most cases a kitchen is very limited, only coffee machine or kettle. Also provisions as coffee, pepper salt etc. In other words, will definitely come back when visiting my family in Gent.

Recommended place

We stayed 2 nights. Quiet area, clean and comfy place. Shower with hot water on point.

The studio wasn’t the one we book through the photos (but we expected that and still satisfied with what we got) and I wouldn’t say is far from the center but I wouldn’t say is nearby either, was okay (ish).

It had everything you need for a friendly get away. Nice bathroom, spacious rooms, enough plates and cutlery to eat, make a coffee. We didnt cook, but thats possible aswell.

Obviously not a luxury apartmenr, so confort is not 100%, but I dont think its expected.

Everything. I love the lay out. Plenty of space. Very well equipped with kitchen wear. The staff is very kind and helpful. Bus station is not far from the place. Close to the university, many restaurants around

It’s very dark and quiet at night. It didn’t feel unsafe but don’t expect 24hour reception like u used to have in hotel. The automatic light is on when you walk pass for a few min.

Very tidy, clean and provided everything needed. The jar of ground coffee was inspired and the short mighty. Very comfortable, cosy and easy to access.

Building site wake up service across the road

We were out the rain. The room we eventually got was clean and warm.

Not the best place when you arrive with your own car. Parking was about 15 minutes walking from the apartment. Our initial room had an unmade bed and it looked like someone had or was still staying in it. Luckily there was a person on site to solve it and provide us with another room. Opposite the apartment block is currently a building site. They started banging around 7 am. Not the sort of waking up service you hope to get.

Easy to find when cycling into Ghent for the first time. Slightly out of the centre but nice and quiet with somewhere to eat/drink nearby. Safe bicycle storage which was essential for us.

The shower was so small with a shower curtain that sucked in and clung to you whilst trying to wash. I dislike unhygienic shower curtains for this reason. Could just about stretch arms out to wash hair. Very claustrophobic! Flat, uncomfortable pillows with bed pushed against the wall and loose light fitting right next to my face. Did not ruin our stay but I think it could be improved and a little cleaner with no cobwebs.

Everything you need

Good location. Comfy sofa and good amount of space. The bedding was lovely and feather. The staff were very responsive, we had an issue putting up the travel cot provided and someone came to assist very soon after I contacted reception. The kitchenette was well equipped including coffee. I would stay here again if visiting gent without a baby or I would request a room without stairs.

There was not enough side space to use the hob. Two hobs were provided and there was only room for one and it had to go on the draining board. The bed was comfy but one side was incredibly creaky. We booked a standard studio with canal view and were given a duplex studio with courtyard view- carrying the baby up and down the steep stairs was a little scary. There is no lift so we had to carry the pushchair up three flights of stairs or leave it in the bike area.

A nice stay in Gent.

Location was very good for us. Reasonable parking (3.5 days for under 40 euro) and very easy to find a spot on weekend, at Sint-pietersplein (don't forget to register your vehicle to enter Gent city center). Fridge and facilities were working. French press/filter coffee maker. It was a quiet place and other guests behaved accordingly. Comfortable bed and pillows.

It was just spring but it was very hot upstairs (top floor). 1st option: We were opening the windows and blowing cool air inside with the (noisy but powerful) fan and this would help for like 1 hour. The 2nd option: unfortunately not possible to sleep with the windows open due to mosquitoes, even if the place had plugged in the repellent devices. So we had to choose the 3rd option and sleep with hot temperatures. Shower was clogged strange that this wasn't noticed when cleaning/preparing the room. Narrow stairs, uncomfortable to get to third floor with medium/large luggage.

Noise: people trooping up and down the stairs past my room at all hours and disturbing my sleep. At the very least carpet on the stairs -any kind, doesn't need to be expensive - would help muffle the noise. I had no peace and felt rattled by the feeling of being in a station or similar. So many people needing to get up and leave at the crack of dawn??! Never again. Didn't use kitchen apparatus as it was so much effort humping it in and out of cupboards (microwave, folded cooker hot plate thing).

We liked the location and the heating was good. The bed was very comfortable.

Firstly the shower was still dirty and dripping throughout the stay. When booking, the comforts listed stated that we would have a river view, which we did not have; it did not change the experience but would have been nice to know. The gate code given on the keys was incorrect.

The rooms are cosy, simple, small, practical and beautifully styled (linen sheets!). They have everything you need. It is very close to the frequent buses from train station. The walk into the centre is stunning and helps give the feel for the city. The staff are so incredibly helpful and generous with their time - we had wonderful advice and help when hiring our kayaks from Edville. That kayaking trip (from the jetty outside the front door) was an absolute highlight of our backpacking trip so far. We paddled right through the city, up to the castle, under bridges, through tunnels. Brilliant change from exploring a city on foot.

I liked the place and how it was clean. The staff was also nice. We rented two kayaks from Edville and I really recommend it.

I didn't like that the kayak is self service since it could be dangerous for some people to take the kayak and put it in the water alone. Even though there are some explanatory videos but I felt that we needed some assitance putting and taking back the kayak in place. However, the experience was really nice. One more thing, there was a problem with the wifi but it was rapidly fixed. There is no TV.

Convenient, price was right. They suggested a good parking garage a few blocks away, easy 9 minute walk. There was room to pull up and drop off passengers and bags.

Very nice property and location. Unfortunately a noisy group of other guests kept us awake at night.

Property very good. However the problem was that on our floor, all three other rooms were rented out to a large group of youth from germany, who made a lot of noise and loud music night and day.

Great value for money

The host was very friendly, efficient and accommodating and so was the lady that received us. The place was well equipped, comfortable and super clean. Security was good. We will most definitely recommend to others and also stay there again if we go to Belgium again. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely accommodation.

Room was large, bed was comfortable. Had a kitchenette so good for long term stays

Shower was small with a plastic curtain that kept clinging to your body.also the drain was partly plugged as water kept rising over my feet. Hotel was hard to find e cause of street layout, but passerby were helpful. Also no tv.
