Breakfast was available each day and excellent selection of cooked meals plus continental selection. Dined in on two evenings and meals were good value - with good service. Ideal location for the cruises on Loch Lomond and for touring each day and next to the railway station for trip into Glasgow.

We hit a hot spell and unusual for Scotland and hotel not equipped for really hot days as windows opened only a small amount and no through breezes.

Great location, friendly staff. I would recommend this as a place to stay near Loch Lomond.

We stayed at the Tullie Inn in Balloch for two separate nights at either end of our trip. Our first stay was a lovely experience from start to finish. The room was great with an incredibly comfy bed, and the bathroom was immaculately clean with great toiletries. We appreciated the tea/coffee facilities and the fan provided for the unusually hot weather. The staff were welcoming, the evening meal in the restaurant was wonderful, and the first breakfast was efficient and had everything we needed.Our second stay featured an even better room with the same great standard of cleanliness and amenities. However, the breakfast on our final morning completely spoiled the experience. Breakfast was advertised as serving until 10:00 AM, but when we arrived at 9:00 AM, the buffet was completely depleted. There was no hot water for tea or coffee, no juice, and no brown bread. When I asked a staff member, I was told they were entirely out of brown bread. I pointed out the lack of juice and hot water, and she simply replied that other guests had used it all up and the boiler would take a while to refill. I had to hand her my cup just to get hot water brought directly from the kitchen. We ordered poached eggs and beans on buttered toast. It took 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the toast was barely cooked and the butter was served in small packets on the side, which made no sense since the eggs and beans were already sitting on top of the dry bread. It was a miserable experience, and we couldn't wait to leave. The hotel itself and the rooms are wonderful, but the breakfast service on the second morning was incredibly poorly managed.

There was no natural yoghurt, however everything else was good.

I thought the hotel side was very run down and needs decorating to a better standard.
