Enjoyed our stay. Service was exceptionally good but lacked atmosphere.

Didn't have breakfast. I have mobility problems and check in changed us from 2nd floor to 1st floor without us asking Was a lovely idea.

Evening meal not served in the bar would have been good. No atmosphere.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very good dinner and breakfast. Excellent car parking. Well appointed bedroom with everything a person needs for an overnight stay. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent Wifi.

The mattress was just too soft for me - I prefer a firmer one - that is not a criticism but simply personal preference.

Hot, bug, clamy, won't be back

I liked the shop beside the hotel and the food that we order within Cohannon inn.

The ear bug in the bed, the no air condition and it being that hot my baby couldn't sleep, no fridge to keep my babies milk cold, no lift I have to carry a pram and car seat up 2 flights of stairs and staff didn't help me after I asked was there a lift, she seen what I had to carry up and left me to it.

Really nice staff and very accommodating, food basic but good lovely breakfast too, room a bit basic but we only needed to sleep and the bed was comfy, this is our 2nd visit in a couple of weeks so that tells you everything, even traveled 30 mins to get here

We needed an early check-in as we were attending a wedding near by and the staff accommodated this..

The room was extremely hot. It has been warm weather, but maybe air conditioning in the executive rooms would be a good add in the future.

Somewhere to rest your head - but that’s it!

The staff were really pleasant. I also heard from others that the breakfast was very good.

It felt more like a care home or a social housing hostel than a hotel. The rooms were really poorly decorated, very basic and dated. The whole place needs a makeover.

The room was cold as I checked in, I hadn’t realised the heating was on a timer. I was tired and cold. The cold tap was hard to get water from, it was very stiff. I feel breakfast should have been included for the price of the room.

Great for Sleep and Shower

It was very Convenient and a short distance away from a wedding I was going to. Was really clean and Comfortable bed. Shower has great pressure and it was perfect for somewhere to sleep.

Not much I can say I didnt like. It was great for what I needed it for which was to sleep and Shower. Wasn't keen on checking in at the Bar while other people were eating but the Staff were lovely.

Location to the wedding venue.

Rooms were very basic. Room lighting was round Industrial LED fitting. Bathroom had workplace toilet roll dispensers. No bedside lockers to leave phone on overnight. Soap and shower gel dispensers were empty and therefore we couldn't wash next morning so left earlier than planned and headed straight home.

When we walked into the room the bed wasn’t mad, and if it was it wasn’t made very well. We had to go in and make the bed. Toilet wasn’t flushed from pervious use.

We had a small issue when come to check in. Some one with similar surname had cancelled there booking but cancelled ors instead but problem got resolved

Manners of some staff need attention

The room was exactly what we needed. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Two members of staff were I don't want to say rude but patronising firstly I was told there definitely was no booking they were fully booked up. Then another member of staff arrived to take my details and payment but no explanation about the mixup just a slight apology for the wait. I didn't realise in filling in the details it would be an inquisition I didn't know my friends car registration I tried to explain he wouldn't be staying but she demanded to know it and looked at me like I was an imbecile because I couldn't even tell her the make of a car that doesn't belong to me. She then asked for ID which I didn't have as I'd stayed here previously and wasn't asked and I had assumed I wouldn't need one as I believe most hotel policy is only to ask for ID if payment in cash which I wasn't eventually she begrudgingly put through my card and gave me my room key.

The room temperature was a bit erratic, and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable, as I stay in a lot of hotels due to my job. This was something that stood out for me as a problem.
