Bay Cottage Bed & Breakfast

Tranquility and quiet peacefulness

Elizabeth was welcoming and pleasantly talkative. Our room, although it had a separate but private bathroom, was comfortable and adequate and the shower was perfectly regulated. We had breakfast in the property's own dining room, which made the experience much more connected to the B&B image. The breakfast on offer had a good range of choice and the Full Irish selected was perfectly cooked with homemade bread accompanying. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Elizabeth who hosted our stay beautifully. She even offered an evening meal [at a nominal charge] with dessert, which went down very well. Bay Cottage is a place we could easily return to happily and would recommend it to those travellers who would like to experience the more domestic B&B and its genuine hospitality.

Our only criticism would be, and this comes purely from ourselves, that the mattress was very soft and tended to draw both of us into the middle of its crevasse, giving neither of us any reasonable night's sleep.

A little bit out of Belfast, but very quiet surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, and all kitchen items were available. The shower was beautiful
