Cozy stay in Portadown

Sheila was very sweet and friendly! She made a lovely Irish fry for breakfast and even helped me get to the train station the next day. She lives on a dairy farm so the cows were also a nice addition to the views in the morning. :)

Lovely place, lovely staff, just do something about the smoke.

The location was amazing and suited me well, the bed was comfy and the room clean and tidy. Sheila was amazing and when I left my charger she phoned and I went back to collect it. Breakfast was also lovely - my choice not to have a cooked breakfast but the continental was just fine for me.

The strong smell off smoke as soon as you entered the house was so awful - at one point I really was unsure if I would be able to stay as the smell was everywhere.

Shelia, the host was fantastic. There was nothing she could not do to help my stay over in Northern Ireland go any better. Located in a quiet peaceful rural part of N.I. just off the M1, A4. There is Wright's Service station 1 mile away which had a chippy, a Chinese, wine shop, post office and general store. Only 15 minutes to my work. I will be back. Thanks Shelia.

wouldn’t stay again

this property is advertised with private bathroom but it is a shared bathroom with the family and other guests, appalling as I would never have booked this if I’d known when I said this on arrival to host i was told I was wrong and it’s kept clean - shower was always cold as they would turn the button off and would have to tell them we are wanting a shower

Breakfast was exceptional & lots of delightful local breads, The location is very close to Game of Thrones screen tour which was fantastic every thing about Oakland 10/10 will be back in a heart beat many thanks to Sheila our host as she went beyond her duty to welcome us both.

Exceptional house with fantastic Hosts

There was nothing I could fault.

What a beautiful house in a fabulous location. Sheila went out of her way to make me feel at home. The fly nets & Ameauty device meant that everywhere was free of flies & spiders. It really felt like I was staying in a home away from home. Everyone was so friendly & welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable & the house was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend Oakland & I will definitely be booking again.
