Lovely stay with close location to nearby towns (less than 10 minutes). The food was lovely in the restaurant and the apartment was clean and comfortable.

The location was very scenic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The evenings were great craic with the locals. The Restaurant food was fresh and delicious. Above all I have to thank the staff who did everything possible to make our stay great š I found the bed to be very comfortable. I loved the ambience of the bar, lounge and function rooms. Lots of history and personal touches. If you are lucky enough to meet John, the man on the bar stool, then say Hi he is a true country gent and likes a g&t and a wee shot tell him Marie said Hi and thanks š
We booked 2 rooms for the weekend. I expected breakfast to be included but that was not the case. The decor of the rooms needs updating and the shower heads need replaced. We had to fix the wonky toilet seat of the 1 toilet that was shared with 5 rooms. I also had to get a hand wash bottle for the basin as none was provided. I expected there to be a hair dryer and a box of tissues provided in the rooms but these were not available. There is a dodgy step at the top which needs fixing and none of the doors were fitted properly so do not close well. Also, if you stay at the weekend be prepared for the bar noise to keep you awake till closing. There is no sound proofing for the bedrooms and the loud speaker just below the bedroom window did not help.
