We enjoyed the country location and the sun room was delightful in the morning for breakfast.

The location was good. Appreciated the clean towels daily and the downstairs sun room for meals

The hot water was iffy depending which upstairs room got the shower first and the radiator was sporadic with little or no heat.

Our stay was very comfortable, the rooms were spotless, and we appreciated the lengths our hosts went to in order to accommodate our booking requests.

There were a few flies buzzing around due to the hot weather and the windows being open!

I'd stayed here 6 years ago, and was keen to re-visit. We were not disappointed.

While the advertising for this accommodation still refers to it as a B&B, breakfast is not provided. This is because the host has found it practically difficult to do this - she currrently has 3 children under 3 years old! However, there are facilities to cook/prepare guests' own food, as the kitchen/dining room has a microwave, fridges, and plenty of crockery/cutlery. This meant that we were able to walk to the local Spar supermarket (less than 20 minutes) to buy a basic dinnner and food for breakfast - an arrangement that suited us. Having prepared both meals, we had the dining room and large conservatory to ourselves - both with great views across the fields. Tea and coffee was also available, as was plenty of fresh milk (and oat milk that we had specified when we had booked).

It wasn't a problem for us, but Hillview Lodge is situated just outside the city. We could probably have walked to the centre of Armagh in 30-40 minutes, but car owners would have no problem.

Myself and my mother to date have had three short breaks in Hillview Lodge and have never been disappointed. It is exceptional as always. The room is always spotlessly clean and comfortable. Could not recommend enough. Glenn is always so lovely and welcoming. Hopefully we will be back for a fourth stay next year 😊

Location was good for my needs. I was attending a party nearby. The owner met me and checked me in and he was very friendly

The breakfast was off due to Corona. He explained the dining room wasn’t suitable for social distancing. I understand to a certain extent but I was the only guest so don’t see why they couldn’t have given me breakfast
