A beautiful hotel next to Lake Titisee, but poor value for money.
The location was excellent, and the parking lot was spacious. The hotel building was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.
It was a decent hotel, but the value for money was quite poor. The room was smaller than expected, and unless you use the wellness facilities, there aren’t many strong advantages. The sauna and swimming pool closed too early, making them difficult to use.

Our room has a completely transparent shower window facing the bedroom. When we raised this concern at reception, we were told "this is normal in Germany" and nothing could be done. This is absolutely unacceptable for families or anyone sharing a room. Temperature Issues: Rooms were uncomfortably hot. Reception acknowledged the issue but said no one can fix it until tomorrow, offering no alternative solutions. Poor Housekeeping Standards: Basic supplies like water bottles were never replenished during our stay - something that's standard service elsewhere. Poor Customer Service: Staff consistently dismissed legitimate concerns instead of offering solutions.

Very clean hotel and nice location.
Not kids‘ friendly, no children around, no playground, toys, books, …, no kids activity or kids favourit foods in restaurant. Hotel was a good fit for seniors. For breakfast, you were not allowed to choose your table so you could miss the lake view. For such 4star hotels, breakfast could have higher quality.
