Rustic tradition in cooperation with modernity.

The Gasthaus Zum Kreuz neatly honors the tradition of the black forest and impressively adds modern sophistication. The destination is operated by a wonderful family that focuses on the smallest details that elevate their customers experience. They are genuinely wonderful people who are cheerful and proud. The food in the restaurant is exquisite. The breakfast is hearty and plentiful. Everything is fresh and locally sourced. The Spa is beautiful, clean, and modern. It's rustic class.

There is nothing that I would change about this location. It is really refreshing to stay in a location where there is a palpable level of pride in the facility and the operators.

wir waren nun 2 mal dort ... und kommen sicherlich wieder

Das Frühstück war Top; Das Essen Abends unübertrefflich. Das personal unglaublich bemüht und freundlich.

ich konnte in dem Bett auf Zimmer 2 nicht schlafen. 1. war das Bett viel zu weich und 2. zu niedrig. Das führte dann dazu, dass wenn man Nachts mal rausmuss, kommt man kaum hoch. Wenn man sich im Schlaf mal umdrehen wollte, war das durch die weiche Matraze nur sehr schwer möglich. Ausserdem "wanderten" die beiden aufgelegten Matrazen im Doppelbett auseinander. Wenn man die Qualität von diesem Bett mit der Qualität des ganzen Hauses vergleicht, dann passt das nicht zusammen. Das war aber der einzige Punkt, der verbessert werden könnte.

Tolle Zwischenübernachtung, wäre gerne etwas länger geblieben

Frühstück war toll, Abendessen auch (habe die großzügige Portion nur aufgegessen, weil es so lecker war). Der Spa-Bereich hat mich positiv überrascht: seht schön gemacht, und größer als ich erwartet hatte. Alle sind super nett, und ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Ist eigentlich alles top. Wenn ich unbedingt was finden muss: in den Duschen im Spa-Bereich gibt es kein Duschgel (im Zimmer hingegen schon) ;-)

Le grand air allié au le confort moderne

La chambre est propre et spacieuse, le petit déjeunez succinct mais complet avec des produits locaux. L'accueil et le personnel sont au petits soins. Le spa est un vrai plus pour se détendre après une ballade dans ce beau cadre qu'est la forêt noire.

Ajouter quelques viennoiseries au petit déjeunez serait parfait.
