Comfortable, clean, close.

Very clean room. Although it was a shared hostel-type room, the beds are nicely built, separated, providing some intimacy. Very nice view from the beer garden. Close to town center. Spacious parking.

Do not recommend

Really poor value for money - and every little thing that is standard everywhere else costs extra. Also, the rooms have no ventilation at all, the air gets really bad during the night.

Absolutely brilliant

The room, breakfast and the staff were brilliant. The beer garden was great with views over the river as was our room {306}. It is a short walk into the town square Its location was nice and quiet.

I could not find any faults with this hotel. the only thing that i think would improve the hotel is a little more information about the restaurant in the rooms.

Lovely hotel close to the river

The hotel is very good, things are clean and comfortable. There is a wonderful Biergarten and a nice view. The location is great, since it's close to the river, the restaurants, and the train station.

The glass door of the shower is not efficient to holding the water

Very clean and modern dormitory room at a good price

I stayed in dormitory room which isn’t like a hostel, it’s just a single dorm in the hotel. Very clean and modern furnishings, in particularly the bathroom. Was there in late April and was the only one in the room. Good price for a touristy area.

My only fault is that I think there should’ve been a hand towel in the bathroom but wasn’t

One of the best hostels ever: affordable price, great location and excellent service/conditions!

Everything!!! Location, concept, quality, space, breakfast, bar, terrace, lobby, lockers (big and spacious for large backpacks - bring your lock!), hostel room size and privacy, bathroom... all amenities are there and are good!!! I highly recommend this hotel+hostel. I'd definitely stay again!

A micro downside is the small metallic basket (for storing your mobile, wallet or small belongings) inside every hostel bed. They easily move and cause a bit of noise when heating the wall (wooden), but that's not an issue.

Pleasant

The location is nice. Hotel newly renovated, spacious rooms.

The staff needs to be trained in communicating with customers about hotel policies and rates: we were told differently about breakfast rate for adults and children during checking in and checking out. Invoice was incorrectly calculated at first. As we spotted the mistake, we got the refund though. That experience unfortunately somewhat ruined our impression about the hotel. If the management of the hotel reads those reviews, one recommendation: Have all rates and policies explicitly displayed at check-in counter to avoid miscommunication and build trust for the customers.

Great location. Good breakfast.

We have booked a business room but it was nothing business at it. It's more a motel than a hotel. The room was on the ground floor with access from the parking. There were a lot of bugs and flying insects in the room.

Superb

Each dorm is it's own self contained 'apartment' that you access from the outside car park. So there are no loud noises from the hallway or slamming doors. Although the sound insulation could be better between walls. The bunk beds are set out very well for private space with wall partitions and a curtain. There are also electric outlets from the bunks. The comfort of the bed. The dorm was clean and tidy. They had a lockable garage for bike storage and bike tools at hand to help with maintenance. Which as I was on a cycling tour was a god send. The location is perfect to explore the stunning but small town.

Nothing I didn't really dislike, just as discussed in the likes section.

A neat hostel on the Rhine

A youth hostel next to the Rhine. The room has bunk beds, clean and quiet. By the river, by the street, by the shops, everything is very convenient.

The location was perfect, opposite the railway station, in front of the river Rhein, very clean, the bed comfort with privacy due to the curtains in each bed. Friendly staff. Everything was perfect, value for money.

Clean and comfortable beds. Location in city center is great. Close to Rhine. Nice beer garden. Relatively well maintained facilities. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere.

The ventilation in the room did not exist apart from a tilted window which was not enough, When 6 people put of their shoes or sleeping. In the bathroom the ventilation didn't work so all the moisture from the showering stayed or went in the room this definitely need to be improved and fixed!

Enjoyed our stay, convenient, friendly staff and great amenities.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was awesome, room great size and quiet even though the carpark was directly outside our window, bed comfy and bathroom with all what you need. With a restaurant on site and a Biergarten was awesome. Hotel is 3mins walk to main train station and a couple of minutes to the river Rhine. Interesting layout of hotel and grounds, very fun like.

The location was exceptional

The rooms were not cleaned all week just towels and rubbish cleared, having to pay €7 per day to park car in carpark is disgusting. no English channels on TV not even world news .it is more a motel than hotel .I use to spend a lot of time in hotel when I drove a coach but is just not the same without the original owner Very disappointed
