Expensive and misleading info online- you believe that certain things such as a swimming pool and perhaps spa treatments

The manager was rude, the room and bathroom were dirty (mould in the shower), plastic cups, not enough towels

Excellent breakfast and location. Wonderfully beautiful town with fewer tourists. Very nice bathroom

There were no lights in the hallways during the whole day which was odd. Reception was empty most of the time which is fine but also different. It should be more clarified that the pool and breakfast areas shown are in a seperate location than the rooms themselves.

Never coming back. Not worth the money.

The stay was right in the centre that was the only plus point but don’t fall for this only reason. There are much better options available.

There was hardly anything I could say positive about this stay. No proper lights at the corridors. No receptionist most of the time. They show false advertising of swimming pool because that pool is part of some other hotel not this one. No hair dryer, no coffee machine, the walls have molds and dusty. I would never recommend this place. For the price I paid there were so many other options I came here only for the pool to realise it doesn’t exist.

All in all it was a nice stay!

The location was great, right in the city center. We were able to store our luggage in the hotel, even after we had to check out. And very friendly staff!

I missed eggs in the breakfast, or some warm bacon. Don't count on the hairdryer, it's quicker to blow it yourself. ;) The building in general is a bit worn down.

Our acommodation through booking.com in Liege was cancelled at the last minute so we booked this in durbuy as everything in liege full. The situation was great, Durbuy is so pretty.

The hotel felt like a bedsit. No lock at all to get in. Anyone can go in any time, day or night. The photos are not what it or the rooms looked like. No staff around. We paid £1200 for 2 rooms for 3 nights and it wasnt worth the money.

A substandard hotel that only merited 1 star and was overpriced for the facilities. To be avoided at all costs by travel

The breakfast was good but this was served at another hotel.

The hotel appeared to be under renovation. it was dirty, walls were damaged and the carpets in reception were filthy. The room had been renovated but not to the standard of any of the pictures on your webpage. The smoke alarm was disconnected. The bathroom had not been updated and it had a hand held shower in the bath. There was no safe for valuables and the security at the hotel was non existent. Anybody could walk into the hotel because there was no door and rarely anyone on reception. Keys were left in a tray on the reception desk which anyone could take. The hotel was listed as 3 stars - never in a million years. There are plenty of other hotels in Durbuy that would be far better than this hotel. I have photos if you are interested.

I liked the willingness of the receptionist to help. That being said, there wasn't someone in the reception most of the time. Finally, the breakfast was okay, but it was served in a different hotel.

On the first night, we stayed in a room with a door that couldn't be locked. Anyone could push the door and enter our room. We let the hotel know, and they could not do anything on that night because they were fully booked. So, we had to stay inside as we could not leave our stuff unattended in the room that night. They changed our room the next night, but we had to take our suitcases and check in again after 15:00; even though we had paid for two full days, we couldn't use a room for two days. Finally, the pictures of the hotel on Booking.com are not up-to-date, which is very misleading. The hotel flooded several years ago, and it is still under construction.

didn’t see one member of staff the whole stay, entrance didn’t work had to use the restaurant next door but no sign advising this. lights in the hall way didn’t work had to use torch on phone in the dark to see. room smelt of damp and mould had to go to different hotel for breakfast

I am sure I will never come again. it was terrible because you gave the room to someone else at the same time the door of my room was opened by someone else with a key and they entered my room where I was sleeping it was a disgrace and there was no one to talk to at the hotel

Amazing location and lovely rooms

The hotel is simple but rooms are really nice and comfortable. Staff is though pretty much invisible and you have to do very long wait to see anyone.

Having a proper receptionist would help a lot your guests.

Interior of the hotel looks like it could use some renovation. The handle of the door room was broken, you needed to push well the doors to open/close. Room was humid enough. Breakfast was fine but you had to walk and go to another hotel to eat. Reception was not there or easy to find, no English were spoken but staff seem friendly :)

The village is very pretty, great restaurants, bars are nearby and the people are very welcoming.

Bike trip in Durbuy

The hotel is located on the main square with all other hotels inside the city centre. There is the possibility for €50 per person to access the wellness centre in a partner hotel, which comes with a pool, sauna & hammam. Friendly staff.

The hotel needed some renovation: hair dryer not working, door handle damaged. Price-quality wise, the price was definitely on the high end for what you get in return: we were there in low season for a midweek stay and we still had to pay 85 EUR/night without breakfast while the hotel was deserted.

De ligging was top

Geen onthaal , muffe inkom, deur dag en nacht open ipv met een code aan de deur te werken, ik voelde me niet veilig, zwembad was helemaal niet in dat hotel maar staat wel op booking bij de foto's. Vieze koude kamer, deurklinken, lichtschakelaars , muren, zetel waren vuil. De lakens waren al goed wel proper. Geen extra kussenslopen rond de extra kussens. Nog haar in de douche van de vorige. Het ontbijt was in een ander hotel dat wel netjes en proper was, vriendelijke man die zelfs nederlands kon.

voor een super de luxe kamer verwacht je toch iets meer......

we hadden de super de luxe kamer met een groot bad. De ligging was heel erg goed, pal in het centrum.

Er was amper iets van zeep te vinden alleen in zo een dispenser voor haar en lichaam dezelfde zeep.... (dus ook geen conditioner of body lotion) De handoeken waren heel erg versleten en dun om je mee af te drogen. We hadden heel slechte matrassen en hoofdkussens. En er was super veel lawaai. Voor het ontbijt moesten we naar een ander hotel wandelen.
