Excellent stay in old town of Cavtat

We stayed in the studio with the terrace. It was small but very clean and comfortable with all the basics we needed (we didn’t do any cooking), plus extras such as beach towels and plug in mosquito repellent (not needed during our stay but a thoughtful touch). The view from the terrace was beautiful looking over the bay and was a lovely place to sit after being out for the day, as it captures the afternoon/evening sun. Communication prior to arrival was great with Kristina in the office providing full information in a lovely friendly manner. She organised a taxi transfer to and from the airport for us. Whilst you can easily get a taxi at the airport, they are not allowed into the old town and drop you outside, whereas the transfer organised for us dropped us in the old town at the bottom of the steps to the apartment. The driver had phoned ahead to the owner who was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us around. We really enjoyed staying in the old town. If we went down the steps from the studio within seconds we were on the prom with all the bars and restaurants (we did not hear any noise at night). If we went up the steps and turned left we could wander through the old town for 10 minutes and arrive at Rat beach, which was our favourite place to be!

Super location, right on the seafront, with a beautiful view of the bay. Very close to the bus station, supermarkets, eating places and hiking routes. The apartment is equipped well and very comfortable. The owner Mihaela is very friendly and helpful, communication was smooth. She waited at the bus station for my arrival and introduced Cavtat’s places/events to me. Appreciate a taxi arranged to the airport.

There are some steep steps up to the apartment but definitely worth the climb.

Superb apartment, wonderful holiday!

The most wonderful location for a holiday. Both Cavtat and the apartment exceeded our expectations. The view from the balcony is stunning and the apartment spotlessly clean. We requested an airport pickup which worked perfectly and once we arrived in Cavtat we were met by Mihaela with the apartment keys. Well managed and attentive service which added to the holiday experience.

Excellent location in the old town coupled with a fantastic view from the terrace.

The apartment is in the flight path so there is a bit of noise from planes. Keeping the windows shut at night did help to reduce the noise level.

A lovely apartment right in the centre of Cavtat harbour promenade. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. And what a gorgeous view from the window!

There are many steps up to the entrance of the apartment block and more inside to get to the top apartment. It wasn't a problem for us but if you have mobility issues you may have difficulties.

The view from the balcony is amazing , very clean comfortable apartment, has everything you need , close to all the lovely restaurants and bars and sea front, mihaela kindly organised a taxi for us and met us on arrival , will definitely be back!

Was perfect location right on top of the Cavtat strip. Air conditioning worked very well, along with all other facilities. Terrace is a great feature and captures the sun and view great. A return stay is definetly on the cards!

Perfect location, with everything we needed!

We loved the location, much closer to the buzz of the town than we thought but it was ideal! The apartment had everything we needed!

Only downside was the fridge had a mini freezer in and the door wouldn’t close so a lot of our drinks/food were getting frozen just by being in the fridge! But I’m sure something easily fixed for the next guests!

A perfect summer getaway

First of all THE VIEW from the apartment is spectacular :) looking over the Cavtat bay. Sea, palm trees , sun and blue skies. The location of the apartment is just as great as the view. Located in the middle of the sea promenade, yet very quiet, 0-5 minute walk to all of the restaurants (and there are a lot of them), shops, a bank, atms, bakery, fish and veggie market and very close to the beach (5-15 minutes, depending on which one you choose to enjoy the day at). A perfect spot to start a walk or go for a run around the bay. The hosts were very kind, the communication always easy. They've organised a car ride from and to the airport (not even 10 minutes drive). The apartment was very cosy and spacious and even though it was really hot outside I didn't even once had to put on the AC on. Probably due to the stone walls the house was built of. The terrace is amazing. One could spend the whole day there. I can't wait to come back!

Sehr gute Lage mit toller Aussicht. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten schnell zu erreichen. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön.

Gelegentlich fliegt ein Flugzeug über Cavtat zum oder vom Flughafen, uns hat es nicht gestört.

Fantastische plek en uitzicht in en over Cavtat!

De enige optie om met de auto dichtbij te komen is op een betaalde parkeerterrein. Opgehaald door de vriendelijke host. Ze gaf goede tips en advies. Ook wilde ze onze vliegtijden weten om te kijken of we misschien wat extra speling konden krijgen. Heel lief! De steile klim naar het appartement via een lange trap én wenteltrapje naar de 2e etage werd beloond met een ge-wel-dig uitzicht! Wat hebben we daarvan genoten!! Het stadje zelf is rustig maar erg gezellig. Er valt veel te zien en het heeft een leuke kern met terrassen en strandjes. Het appartement én Cavtat hebben ons verrast en mede gezorgt voor één van de hoogtepunten van onze vakantie.

De accommodatie ligt een een smal straatje met een enorme steile trap om halverwege bij de deur te komen. Deze trap is met een koffer niet aan te raden. Advies is om voor de paar dagen dat je er bent een aparte tas te maken ipv lopen sjouwen met een zwaar koffer. Dit zal ik de volgende keer zeker doen. Wij zijn onze vakantie begonnen met 2 nachten Dubrovnik. We zijn totaal 3 nachten in Cavtat geweest en dat had voor ons best wat langer gemogen. Ook omdat de afstand naar Dubrovnik zo klein is, dat we misschien achteraf meer vanuit Cavtat hadden kunnen ondernemen. Was misschien ook goedkoper geweest. Je zit ook dicht bij het vliegveld en het dorp ligt midden in de aanvliegroute. Dus je ziet en hoort de vliegtuigen maar het heeft ons niet gestoord.
