Cavtat Old School

Me and my family stayed at old school during the end of August. It was such an amazing accommodation. So clean and had everything you needed. The hosts Koki & Tamara are amazing and couldn’t do enough to help. They even collected us from the airport. We had 3 young children with us and they all loved it. We stayed in the penthouse which has lots of space. The pool area was great and most days we had this to ourselves. We will definitely be coming back again. It’s close by to everything. Even though there is quite a few stairs down to the harbour. We didn’t care as it is so beautiful and scenic.

Lots of steps to climb to get there but the view made up for it

Such a lovely place to stay. Comfortably furnished and the view is excellent. Cavtat is such a beautiful place and the Old School House with it's modern feel only enhances your holiday. A short walk to the harbour, restaurants and swimming areas; although there are lots of steps down, if you go to the left of the property the steps are much easier. The trails around either peninsula are perfect for stretching your legs a bit more and to watch the beautiful sunsets. Cavtat is so clean and has a much calmer feel than Dubrovnik. The buses €4 and ferries €15, are easily accessible from either the harbour or bus station. The view from the bus over the top of Dubrovnik Old Town is fabulous. I'm so glad we stayed here as Dubrovnik was so busy and we were able to escape to Cavtat to enjoy our holiday a bit more.

We searched and paid extra to have a pool and although the set up is lovely, the pool was too cold to use. The sea was so much warmer. It would be a bonus if it was heated.

Great location in the old town . Lovely pool area and spacious well equipped apartment. The hosts were lovely and welcoming.
