Aukotan Place

There’s so many good things about this place. We were warmly and delightfully welcomed at reception and checked in a little early which was great for us. You can store your stuff if necessary. The lady lent us a kettle and coffee cups. Room 217. Cold air con. Great WiFi. Fridge. Free water every day. Hot shower. Large room. Comfortable bed (although it’s a mattress on the floor) excellent housekeeping. Very reasonably priced. Location is central. Bike rental on site 200 baht per day. A restaurant on site which is very good and reasonably priced.

Only negative (which was our mistake) and that is no balcony. There is a very small outside space but no room for chairs.

Good value for money for Koh Tao. Lovely woman at the front desk and amazing free shuttle at key times to different parts of the island. Spacious room and comfy bed. Good aircon

Very little natural light in the room which is a shame in such a sunny place. On our last night there was as a band that was playing so loudly nearby that our bed was vibrating with the bass.

Staff was friendly. We hired a ped and was cheaper than most places on the island. Restaurant next door was tasty too. Room was massive and clean. 7Eleven right opposite

Location is a little out the way from the main beach. Would recommend getting a ped to get about the island

They had a shuttle service that takes you to pier or main town. Staff friendly 😀

It was just a little far out. The shuttle does take you into town but doesn’t bring you back, so it can work out expensive
