If you find yourself in the natural beauty of Berane then you can't go wrong with this hotel. Significantly better inside than you might expect.
The front door is locked overnight but your key doesn't open it. The front desk isn't manned and you have to push a call button. There isn't anything open at the time but I wasn't on local time.

The rooms were quite comfortably equipped, with a good bathroom, very nice corridors, a cosy small restaurant catering to more than basic needs. It is a small and reasonably priced hotel that will keep you satisfied as long as you have realistic expectations. Personell speaks sufficiently good English, was very friendly, helpful and left a good impression. That was a strong point of the stay. Also, it’s probably the best place in town. Was recommended by the locals. My room was quiet, even though the place is central, so you can rest well through the night.
There were multiple small defects in the room like non-functioning bed lights or handle of the window that fell off. The carpet is stained and needs replacement. The restaurant is comfortable and offers enough choice of food to survive a day, which is good for the size of the place. However it has an unbearable stench of cigarettes, which even if typical for many balkan countries, for a non-smoker is just unacceptably unpleasant and makes you prefer some other place to enjoy your meal. The room was however free of unpleasant odors, so that is the ok part.

The hotel is in the central part of the city. The breakfast was good.
There isn't specific parking for the hotel. You need to park the car to the bus stops. The rooms are hot there is no air conditioner. In arrival we specifically asked for the working time of the restaurant and they said 23:00. In 20:30 we sat and wanted to order but the waiter said that the restaurant is closed.
