beautiful premises, quaint and full of character. Very comfy bed and room was bright and welcoming.
The room could maybe do with with a bedside lamp or reading lights to replace the lights above the bed, which were very bright.

Breakfast was excellent. Freshly prepared and perfectly cooked. Homemade granola and bread. Great service
The shower was tricky to use but there was plenty of hot water. Parking is really only feasible on the road.

Good location. Nice breakfast. Appreciated tea and coffee facilities; not many hotels have decaf tea. Lovely soft bedding. Good shower size.
Bed not very comfortable. Low water pressure in shower. Room a little cramped.

A very quiet property, even though situated at the top end of Chard High Street. The breakfast was lovely and the room as exactly as shown on the web site.
There wasn't really anything not to like. Room suited my requirements and the couple managing the Lodge could not have been more helpful.
