No attention to my complaint about cold room even when I had asked at the start of my stay

It was right opposite the place I was going drinking too

Room is fine , bathroom cramped but even in November too many people outside the room until 2pm

The Landlady left me a note saying I shouldn't smoke in the room, I've never smoked. Friday you won't sleep until 2pm as the courtyard is full of drinkers.

Not up to standard

Staff were lovely couldn't fault. Beds comfy and clean. The room was not so clean very shabby and dated, shower grubby not at all impressed with it at all. Would not recommend and would not stay there again, sorry.

The room was in absolute need of a refurb and in my opinion should not be offered to guests, especially for what the room rate was until this is done

Very comfortable

Within walking distance of everything in town. There’s parking at the property, although a bit tight getting in ( I have a Ford Focus). It was so handy having a fridge and a microwave. The room itself seems basic but little touches like magazines in the drawer, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer and an iron (and ironing board!), and milk and bottles of water in the fridge made it really comfortable. Only draw back was the noise from the pub, but it’s only to be expected on a Saturday night and you’re right behind the pub. I just took earplugs lol. The staff in the pub were lovely

Nice comfortable stay in the centre of Chard.

Great location right in the centre of Chard. Good sized fridge and good microwave. Hairdryer and iron/ironing board were useful (and we used both). Very helpful and friendly staff.

There was a dehumidifier in the room. But, it was a little bit noisy. So we couldn't really have it on while we were there.

compact little place with tea coffee bottled water and privacy.

clean peaceful, and a little different to what we generally do. nice touch to have these little apartments away from the main place. gives you a real sense of privacy, this is something we both liked very much. will be coming back. the landlady and family were very nice friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. the shower a little small, but we are not so small lol. there were tea coffee making facility's with fresh new milk and bottled water in the fridge. again nice touch beds very comfortable. many thanks for reading and hope this give a little insight from our prospective. :)

Cheap and cheerful accommodation. You get what you pay for.

Clean room. Friendly host, it was very hot and we were offered bottled water and a fan for the room. Ideally situated for us, as we were attending a function at the Rugby Club across the road. Good, clean, cheap accommodation.

Access to parking was very narrow. Just a small rail to hang clothes but no coat hangers anyway. No breakfast but easy to cross the road to Wetherspoons, which was directly opposite. Outside seating area could have been tidier.

Very clean and comfortable good value fir moneyv in a very small space ec

Spotless bed linen and comfortable beds. Also use of a fridge and finding a fresh bottle of milk in side. There were lots of unexpected extras too not just the milk e.g hair dryer toiletries and ironing board . Extra pillows were also provided at no extra cost

The step up made access difficult to the accommodation for someone using a rollator or wheelchair and very little space inside to store it

Relaxing and pleasant

Different room than my last stay, and exactly the same pleasurable atmosphere. Great to have a fridge, and it had a pint of milk in it ready for us. Chairs and table outside each room to sit and relax or smoke.

The room, with an unpleasant smell, was essentially more like a outside shack - barely space for two uncomfortable twin beds and - directly opening into a laundry drying area.

Clean, comfortable room with great facilities (fridge, kettle, microwave, Sky TV, iron & board) and lots of nice little extras (plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits, bottles of water and a carton of milk in the fridge, ice pops in the ice box)

very scruffy, very strong smell of weed which wasn’t nice with my young daughter, then to come back in the evening and find someone smoking it outside our room. very noisy and lots of swearing until late.

Location good and parking. Room was a chalet at the back of the pub, which worked fine for us and it was clean and tidy. No breakfast however Weatherspoons across the road.

A lot of screaming and shouting from pub in early hours, think there was a do on.
