The ground floor double room with en-suite WC and shower was ideal for us. It was reasonably roomy and comfortable with the usual facilities plus a small fridge (very welcome during a heatwave). We didn't have breakfasts there as we needed to get out early each day (served between 8 and 9am). There's a handy Lidl opposite. It's on a bus route, convenient for travelling into town if you don't have a car. The small car park takes 3 cars plus side-street parking.
The hotel is in a busy road, with some traffic noise - this wasn't a real issue for us. The en-suite is not very big.

All of it from the moment Michael welcomed us into the hotel. My room was bright, fresh and spotlessly clean. Great water flow on the shower. A superbly cooked breakfast. Michael understood our needs and was very pleasant. All in all a great place. 👍
