Clean, friendly and quiet. Made us all feel very welcome 🙂 excellent breakfast - even my very fussy children were satisfied! Well- done!

The only issue would be the parking - spaces too small and not much space to manouver. Not mentioning the surface full of holes and bumps. That is the rear parking of course.

Great hotel to stay in if you are a family

It’s in a great location. We stayed midweek and had a room to the front of the building. It was surprisingly quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent

All ok. Except Chef. Both the younger and older. Miserable. Say good morning. No reply Clearly breakfast food prepared for 7am. Still there at 9am. Hard at best cool. Pity as all other staff very pleasant.

Loved the location. The hotel is clean, the staff are lovely and the breakfast is 9/10!

Unfortunately, my daughter and I had a rough sleep as we had a room with an adjoining door which isn’t as sound proof as a good solid wall! The man next door snored like a lion from 10pm until 8am with a brief break at 3am! Nothing the hotel could have done, but I won’t ever accept a room with one of those adjoining doors/rooms again. On the plus side, he sounded like he had a great sleep.

Tyler welcomed us at reception making our check-in fast and smooth, very friendly, the perfect host.

Location was good for us, 15min walk into town.

Food wasn't all that good, cold under the lights. Our room wasn't cleaned, just a towel refresh and beds made 🤷 we used the mugs for tea, they were left on the table and not taken away or refreshed. The pillows were really hard and uncomfortable, it took a lot of shuffling around to get sleep comfy.

Our stay was friendly, comforting and warm and we would definitely return

The breakfast was very good white range of choice sausages could be better very dry the room was excellent apart from very hard pillows and I’ll be like soft pillows it was a little bit of a problem awe were in room, 270, with will get a better room. Next time with a walk-in shower instead of a bath shower. the showerhead needs to be replaced. and there are no coathangers on walls or doors to hang wet coats but apart from those couple of little niggles, the room was warm and comfortable and fitted our needs this time

we love the location of the hotel for us it’s about a 15 minute walk into the town on a nice day it’s a good strong if you come out of the hotel and turn left turn right and go up the road you have lots of amenities there is a lovely Chinese it’s a nice chip shop you have A variety of stores So on a bad days, you don’t have to go too far

Tired and dated hotel which I am afraid I would not recommend.

Most staff were helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurant. Good that breakfast started at 7 am. The bed was comfortable.

Very tired looking and in need of upgrading. I chose this hotel because it has a fitness centre. However, you have to pay extra for a really old, gym with rusty equipment that looked as if it came from the 1970s. There was a pool but this was filled with children and not really for swimming. The breakfast was not good with tinned fruit and watery scrambled eggs and very bland bread for toast. The evening meals were quite expensive and we enjoyed it the first night but not the second.

Breakfast was fine, but quality of sausage not good. Size of room was good, but we did pay the extra for that. Cleanliness was good overall and staff were very helpful and friendly. Meals in the evening were of a high standard.

The good and the baddd

Easy to find good parking.

Ordered a burger it was like shoe leather. Took it back took over 30 mins to get a fresh burger. Very poor. Can hear conversations and tvs clearly from other rooms all night.

£142 for a rundown prison cell with a single bed! TV was broken, tried 2 remote controls, Chanel’s wouldn’t change! Heating went off, (timer I was informed!) middle of the night, I woke up shivering, freezing conditions outside! £6 additional gym charge! Breakfast substandard, whole place really rundown!

Disappointing - Just stay at Premier inn

Some of the staff were very kind when dealing with room changes and issues. Food in the evenings was good and probably the best part of the stay.

One of the rooms on top floor smelt very strongly of metal, so strong the room smelt of blood. When requesting to change I had to wait till the following day to do so. The changed room was a bit better but had a strong fresh paint smell mixed with a damp smell. You have to pay an extra £6 per day to go to the gym, and the gym facilities are very dated. Whole building in general seemed not very well maintained, smelled and needed a lot of work done. The data for my booking was also leaked when booking this hotel to a phishing company, which has never happened - maybe a booking.com issue though. I've never wrote a review to complain about a room before, but I felt forced to with this one.

Perfect in every way

Hotel and amenities great. Staff lovely and attentive, couldn’t do enough for you. Family room spacious, clean and tidy. Good choice for breakfast, cereals, fried, all you can eat. Good choice for evening meals also. Will be returning again, very soon 👌

I didn’t like that. I had to pay for the spa. I had already paid £134 for a room for one night and the fact that I couldn’t use the pool when I had to pay an extra £6 I think that was disgusting.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would come back again.

Room was nice and big. Great to have a fridge and the complimentary extras were wonderful. The coffee too was lovely. Room service was very good.

Maybe a lift but we managed the suitcases up the stairs and the staff did offer to help.
