Good hotel for short stay

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. Room was comfortable and we could eat good dinner in the evening. Breakfast was also sufficient to start your day well. Location was okay, it is not very close to lake in Auronzo, but convenient to leave with car for a hike. There are not that many restaurants in the city if you fancy something else than pizza, but of course you can find some place.

We needed to wait 20 minutes for the checkout since the responsible person was not there. It caused delay for our hike plan and we had troubles finding parking at hike start. There should be a person available at the reception, especially that it was during checkout hours.

Best stay in the Dolomites

Amazing place. We got a free upgrade since the premium room was available. The staff was super nice. The dinner awesome value; 30€ for three course supertasty food. The breakfast just as great. Best place we stayed at during our week in the Dolomites!

Skip if you want nice and relaxing holidays

The room was nice with a nice view. Breakfast was also nice. But all the good things were over shadowed with a very lousy, aggressive and insulting reaction of the owner.

First I want to point out that I use booking often and that I always leave high marks. What I didn’t like about this place is the behavior of the owner who got surprisingly and unnecessary aggressive and rude when asked simple questions. The house stank of fish and I politely asked for a candle or air refresher since the stink went to our room and we couldn’t air it. We even put all the clothes and baggage to the balcony but the stink was already in some of the clothes. Instead of just giving me smth to make the stink “hide” or go away, the owner rudely sent me away. I thought that he misunderstood me so I tried to lower the tensions and explain to him the problem but he started to aggressively and randomly telling me that I got the room with a balcony even that was not booked (we didn’t asked for it, we just booked and got what we got) and that the cleaning lady cleaned upon hours because we were resting in the room when she was supposed to clean (i told her that we don’t need cleaning that day). After that he mocked my Italian and told me that I don’t understand the language since I’m “not a real italian”?! (I have Croatian origin which is obvious from my name). A waitress reacted and told him to calm down. If it was not already 9:30pm we would definitely leave the premises since in anyway this experience ruined our stay and made us feel unwanted and concerned about spending the night with such a hostile person in the house. We then checked the reviews and found more similar situations and lots of not appropriate answers given by the owner. To make this even more crazy experience (like this was not enough😅) in the morning we were moved from our “regular” table where we had dinner and breakfast before and served breakfast on the most distant table, worst positioned table in the room. It would be funny if not being so sad and unprofessional. When we did checked out the next morning the owner billed us 70 eur for one dinner for 2 person.

Spacious rooms, abundant breakfast.

- Room was clean, spacious, and the shower room was superb! - I really liked the vibe of the reception area. So dainty and pretty! - The breakfast was abundant! They have everything well-cooked and prepared, it was a delightful breakfast for all. - The dinner was also tasty, big portions, and reasonably priced. - Nice mountain view from the room. - Ettore was really kind and helpful.

- Seems to be in the middle of nowhere. - Far from Cortina if you are going there.

Okolica spokojna z pięknymi widokami.

Śniadanko pyszne , dobra kawa i czystość . Byłyśmy w Grudniu dom był pięknie oświetlony a wewnątrz dużo dekoracji które umilały pobyt .

Pościel mogła być nowsza. Była czysta ale chyba trochę latek miała.

Toccata e fuga ad Auronzo per vedere i Krampus a Dobbiaco

Titolare molto cortese; ambiente accogliente; colazione non ricchissima ma molto buona come qualità degli alimenti; visuale bellissima dalla stanza della camera e dalla sala colazione

La nostra stanza era all'ultimo piano (terzo), l'unico ancora da restaurare e rimodernare; la pulizia e la visuale dalla finestra (soprattutto al mattino con il sole che sbuca da dietro alle montagne) sicuramente ha compensato lo stile da rimodernare.

Un posto dove sentirsi a casa

La struttura è pulita e accogliente, a conduzione familiare e il personale è in grado di farti sentire subito a casa. Sia a colazione che a cena abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene, la vista dalla finestra era bellissima e tutte le mete di nostro interesse erano abbastanza vicine.

Non ho realmente trovato dei difetti, l’unica cosa che forse aggiungerei sono delle zanzariere alla finestra perché volendo tenerle aperte abbiamo avuto qualche ragnetto in camera e qualche altro insetto, ma nulla di grave :)

Sehr saubere Unterkunft, wir wurden obwohl wir spät eingecheckt haben sehr freundlich empfangen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich. Die Lage ist sehr gut und die aussticht aus den Zimmern einzigartig.

Très bel arrêt!

Très belle vue , bon emplacement pour un arrêt dans les dolomites , chambre spacieuse , très propre . Excellent petit déjeuner sucré et salé

Proche de la route fort fréquentée ( a partir de 7h30 le matin ) , repas du soir servi très rapidement mais super bon !
