Bungalow No 7

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

Mattresses were very hard.

This hotel is on the water BUT there is zero beachfront to hang out on as the hotel has a cement wall in front of it. The beach is only a few steps away but you’ll need to rent chairs from other hotels if you want any shade.

It’s what you expect for the price on Lembongan, location was great and within walking g distance to lots of great little beach restaurants & massage spas.

The hotel confirmed our fast boat and hotel transfers from Seminyak 2 weeks before arriving, with pick up 2 hours before the boat departure time. Having done this trip a few times now I know the drivers are usually early. So 15 mins past the pick up time I asked my hotel in Seminyak to call bungalow 7 to check, there was no answer so I then asked her to call the boat company- there wasnt even a booking. I had to arrange transport myself and the whole way there was trying to communicate through WhatsApp with the boat conpany about what had happened. They thankfully held 6 seats for us and we just made it to Sanur on time. No apology from Bungalow 7. Stressful start to our relaxing holiday! Unfortunately that wasn’t the end of the dramas, 2 days in I got a call from my son while I was half an our walk up the beach, just about to eat lunch- he was back at Bungalow 7 and was told we needed to move out of one of our rooms straight away as they’d double booked it. At this point t I checked on booking . com I could see that one of our other rooms was still listed as available so spent the last 3 days expecting to be moved again- Thankfully that didn’t happen!! It seems that Bungalow 7 can’t navigate bookings through multiple booking platforms- so be aware if you stay here you might be told to move rooms or even move out totally!
