Too much like a private house

Best thing about this place is the lake view from the balcony and the direct access to the lake. The room was large and clean and the bathroom although across the hallway was also large and clean.

Everything is a little dated, the parking is tight as the gate is narrow. The curtains were super thin and really hard to open and close. The breakfast was monotonous but it filled us in the morning, there was a kitchen and you just served yourself from the buffet and went to the kitchen yourself for an extra spoon, more milk, etc which was a little odd. The bedding didn't fit the bed so the mattress was exposed and the pillows were more like flimsy floor cushions but the room was made up each day. No fridge in the room and no air conditioning. The thing we liked least about this property was the atmosphere of intruding in the owners home, we were informed when we arrived that the small deck was private and we were not to use it other than to get into the water which was odd considering photos of the deck are part of the advertisement on Booking.com. Unfortunately for us this attitude left an uncomfortable feeling. 'The family' visited several times we were staying, sometimes with big dogs and they basically took priority over the paying guests, there were play areas that we weren't allowed to use and the play swing area for guests in the photos didn't exist anymore. It was awkward to get in the lake when there was a private party going on on the deck and we felt an atmosphere of them and us. We all also experienced getting bitten by something at the property, with several bites appearing each morning, there was something either in the room or the lake that was feasting on us, so we took precautions on our arrival home. So the house keeper when we saw her was polite, the room was large and OK, view really lovely, it wasn't a bad place to stay but personally but I'd rather spend €1000 to stay at a hotel where the the guest experience is the most important thing.

Beautiful lakeside accommodations near Villach.

Everything was wonderful. I had a nice, quiet room and could come and go as I pleased. I loved going to the waterside pier to swim and enjoy the view. I could hike to area attractions like Affenberg (Monkey Mountain) and Burg Landskron. A summer bus from Villach made transportation easy.

Only one little thing. Since it is a lakefront property, it would have been nice if beach towels were provided. No room to pack towels when traveling.

A környéken jókat lehet kirándulni, Villach nevezetességei, Landskron vára stb. A reggeli friss volt, - péksütemények, felvágott, sajtok, dzsem, zöldség .

Csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek.

Csodálatos elhelyezkedésű. Tetszett a belső design. A reggeli egyszerű, de finom és friss ételeket tálaltak fel.

Az emeleti szobában csak tusoló van a szobában, a WC a folyosón van.

TOP! Sehr gerne wieder!

Wir wurden herzlichst von der überaus freundlichen Hausdame in Empfang genommen. Die Unterkunft ist besonders hundefreundlich und auch das Frühstück hat uns sehr gefallen! Das Zimmer war sehr groß und vom Balkon hat man einen besonderen Blick auf den Ossiachersee. Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Unterkunft kostenlos verfügbar.

Eigentlich war alles super. Nur die Matratze war etwas durchgelegen. Da könnte man irgendwann nachbessern. Ist aber nicht zwingend notwendig.
