2 night stay with great views

Great location over looking the lake. Short 15 min walk to ski lift. Brilliant ski area. Comfortable bed. Food was good value and tasty. Very clean.

Nice view and new big rooms and space.

The breakfast and dinner were not good. The cleaning of the room renewing tea and coffee was missing. Also towels and bed sheets were not changed even when not clean.

Location and views

Staff weren’t very friendly when we arrived in a thunderstorm on bicycles. Food in restaurant and breakfast lacked quality and quantity. Im comparing these things with the Austrian welcome and generosity we experienced on other nights on travelling through Austria.

The view was nice. Place from the outside looks nice.

The price is not good value for the money. The bed was really bad, to soft, restaurant or bar closed, no possibility to buy any drinks, room weird with sink in the bedroom, clean glass door of the toilet so you can look the other person doing private things- it is not what you expect from 4 star hotel.

The view overlooked Ossiach lake, was amazing! Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend.. but still pretty..

The rooms were kinda cold, the heater wasn't working yet.

Exceptional

Location is top of the top. You open your eyes in the morning and see impeccable Ossiacher see in its full. The hotel is located on a hill, whole valley and the lake is underneath, surrounded by mountains. Horses, paragliders, castle on the opposite hill. Perfect place to relax - cosy like a home. Very pleasant hosts. Mostly self-service on reception. Definitely will come again.

Would prefer more choice for breakfast and toiletries in a bathroom (soap on a sink, not only in the shower).

no fridge in rooms was a problem, bed was hard and the couch was awful. There were also dirty looking blankets stuffed in the closet
