I delayed writing a review as I wanted to give it the time it deserved as honestly this was an exceptional experience! I’d arranged a birthday surprise for my partner with the wonderful support of the staff and it couldn’t have went more perfect. The interior is stunning architecturally speaking, and the staff could not have been more accommodating! I only live round the corner and know the area very well so was a really nice surprise that it was in fact so quiet and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this guest house to anyone looking for an intimate, relaxing stay and for a special occasion as it’s just perfect!

It was central to plenty restaurants and pubs. The girl that checked us in, wasn’t polite and helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was clean and bed comfortable. All in we really happy and enjoyed our stay.

Decor & style was nice and unique, location was good central but quiet
It was very unclear when booking that the room had an external bathroom which ended up being a shock on arrival and caused a very unpleasant stay.
We was also told breakfast was served between 7.30 and 10.00 but asked if we could give rough time as everything was made fresh. We did but unfortunately woke up earlier than planned, we were understanding it might take a bit longer but was made to feel bad because the staff were not actually going to show up until later now.
