Very tired outside, poor first impressions as lots of weeds, lawn needed mowing. Very overgrown. Ordered pizzas and they came virtually still frozen, sent them back but still came back look warm.

The location was good for our planned trip

The room on the ground floor has only a door toward the backyard and there is no window for ventilation. The door is not provided with a mesh screen and insects get in. The facility has no air conditioning

Very friendly reception staff, nice garden to sit and relax, good breakfast. Our dog was welcomed and we were allocated a room which had direct access to the garden area.

The room was a little on the small size however we only slept in it and stayed just for one night so not a real issue for us. Its a little out of town but only 5 minute drive or 30 minutes walk.

Overnight stop home to England

The receptionist was very helpful upon arrival. We had an issue and it got sorted. There were tea making facilities in the room. We had a bath as well as an overhead shower. Plenty of sockets as well

There was no bedside table available. The sink had some minor cracks. The bathroom had not been cleaned to a high standard, there was a spider and small web in one corner by the shower. The car park was open, no gates to lock the cars in.

Good location for breaking our journey. The staff were pleasant and the restaurant and food was quite good. Easy parking.

No bedside cabinet or shelf my side of the double bed. lighting for bed was tiny bulbs on tatty flexible stalks from the headboard area. Bathroom light switch was above the basin, nothing by the door and the light only worked occasionally. I suspect faulty switch. Reported but nothing done during the time we were there. Shower was over a bath, which I actually prefer but there was a bit of a hole in the bath enamel.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel we used as a stopover on our way home from Spain. The room and bathroom were huge. Our dog was made welcome and the hotel is in a lovely area so we could take her for a walk locally. There is a restaurant on site and we had dinner there which was nice.

Fair but disappointing.

Friendly staff, specially in the problems which occurred - not their fault, an area-wide power cut probably due to a storm, prevented us having a meal in the evening! There were alternatives a short drive away, so didnt go hungry. It has always been a convenient stopping place.

We have used this hotel since it was a Campanille, and sadly, the property is not in as good a condition as it used to be, needing to call a memebr of staff to show us how to turn on the light in the bathroom, which also lacked a proper door catch, just an old broken one.

A hotel, or company, in decline I'm afraid.

I have stayed here annually for many years when it was a Campanile. It is now more basic but the location suits me. In the difficult staff shortages the staff on duty tried to be very helpful.

Service one night was a bit slow. The second night the restaurant was closed, I got the message late but the existing staff were very helpful with a room-service alternative - thank you. I'm sorry that this location is now rather down market, with reduced menus, drinks machines that are unreliable and for the first time I was asked to pay on arrival instead of on departure.

Location was very good for motorway access. Quiet too given the road was close. Breakfast was a good buffet. Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room. Off road parking.

A nice spot to have an overnight stop en route either south or north through France

Big bedroom plus wet room. Sadly the wet room was not water tight and flooded into the bedroom! Quiet and also cool on one of the hottest days ever.

Dinner was acceptable but ordinary and sole waitress overworked - meaning long waits between ordering and actually receiving the food. Excellent self service breakfast.
