Great location. Good attempt at trying to distinguish themselves from others with a recognisable room design.

Unfortunately, a number of small but important details felt overlooked and gave the impression of limited thoughtfulness. A kettle was provided in the room, but no instant coffee, which was disappointing. The in-room amenities were also very limited: there were no slippers or shoehorn, and the bathroom offered only soap and lotion. In addition, the room heating did not function correctly and appeared to run at maximum output continuously. Despite that the bed was comfortable but only one bedside table was provided which was rather strange, and we had to use a chair to make up for the second one. While I do not mind housekeeping taking place every second day, this should have been clearly communicated in advance. Finally, having housekeeping knock on the door at 9am on Christmas Day to ask whether the room could be cleaned was inappropriate.
