Nice staff. Excellent location. Cheaply priced. Nice courtyard.
Bedroom needed a good thorough clean. Wifi was hopeless. You would think they would provide a minibar- keep water cool in such warm weather

We have stayed before and it is always s comfortable friendly place to stay.
Missed being able to make a hot drink in our room

Breakfast was delicious and certainly alot of variety. Much needed air conditioning in room was essential during our stay due to hot summer days. External blinds on windows were an added positive. Lovely spacious room. Small fridge very much appreciated.
The shower had its difficulties as the shower head was not set on the wall but had to be hand held. Not a good situation for older people. Climbing in and out of the bath a hazard. Would have been better if shower head attached to the wall.

This hotel came up on Bookjng as a “rarely available “ and now I know why! It ticked all the boxes for Saint Rémy. Location to the centre ville, free parking at the hotel, en route by foot to the hospital museum where Van Gogh spent his last days, an easy drive to Les Baux.
The rooms were well appointed and gave the feel of a lovely old French villa. My friend and my husband and I loved this hotel and the staff were exceptional.
We took the breakfast two mornings on our stay and it was great value and delicious with eggs to order your way as well as the continental selection. We planned on spending afternoons by the pool however we were so busy seeing the sights of Saint Rémy and beyond that the pool missed out. It looked relaxing and was popular with guests. Very tranquil.
Nothing- we loved it all!
Photos are of views towards Les Alpilles from our bedroom window- difficult to capture the essence of the view.

Good size room, bed and bathroom. Nice garden and a pool. Parking place at the hotel. Having air conditioning. Easy walk to town centre.
It’s all very good really. Not the fault of the property, but walking the stairs to the top floor when it’s 38 degrees is a challenge. Shower over the bath might be difficult for some to get in and out of.

The location of the hotel is really good as it takes only about 10 minutes to walk into the centre of St Remy and there is a little supermarket halfway for added convenience. It is off the main road so it is quiet at night and we had a nice view over the roofs and to the hills in the distance from our room. I also really liked the typical French window shutters, they kept the room shady and cool during the day.
As charming as the hotel looks from the outside, we were a little disappointed with the inside. The endless hallways and many staircases gave a dark and sterile impression. There was no lift and we had to go up three flights of stairs to reach our room. The room itself seemed a bit tired with old mismatched furnishings and lacked comfort as it did not have a table, or a kettle, the TV was miniscule and it was hard to have a shower without water spilling all over the bathroom floor as the shower was over the bathtub and only had a small shower screen. The toilet was separate, but the space was so tight, you had to squeeze in and the door was broken, so didn't shut properly. The pool area that features so prominently in the photos was a lot smaller than expected and only had a handful of sun lounges, therefore it was near impossible to find a free one in the afternoons . All in all we found it a bit pricey for what was offered.

Cockroaches in the room. The hotel staff was unable to resolve the issue adequately. Issue still not resolved. Stay away if you care about your health.

Everything about the property was wonderful. The hosts were extremely helpful as we didn’t speak very good French. They had delicious breakfasts with a lot of choices. They had a beautiful well maintained pool that was at 28 deg. A very comfortable room that overlooked the mountain ranges. Just superb.
The stairs we had heavy bags to take up two flights.

Excellent location, beautiful building and gardens, clean and comfortable and a wonderful breakfast with local meats, cheeses, and locally homemade jams! Lovely stay!

The property is very close to the main town and yet far enough a way to have peace and quiet. There is an outdoor space where you can have a cup of tea or read a book and it is very nice. It is very close to a grocery store making it very handy to pick up a few things for the day. For €15, you could have a very good breakfast.
We like to open our windows and in general no one seems to have screens on their windows so if you leave them open too long, you’re going to get some bugs. I could’ve used an extra blanket and luckily I was able to find one on my own. The shower is excellent but again it’s this new way of having just a half of a shower door meaning that water gets out and about. This seems to be common in many places. The bed was perfect for me- hard/not soft.

Lovely pool area and breakfasts. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location in town was fantastic. And not so near the bars to be noisy. On site parking was a bonus. A good 3 star hotel.

The location is perfect: only a 5 min walk to the centre of town. The pool and lounge area was very nice and the breakfast options were quite good. Staff was friendly and the free parking spots are a big bonus!
The room was not dirty, but when I pulled back the sheet upon checking in there was a significant amount of hair on the blanket. Maybe the hotel allows pets because they looked like dog or cat hair. It was a warm day so we just pulled it off and slept under the sheets which were fine.
We also wanted to enjoy some lunch that we brought from the grocery store at the terrace tables outside the trees. The woman at the front desk kindly gave us some cutlery to facilitate this, but then later came out and said we are not supposed to eat there, which begs the question why dining style furniture is out there when the hotel does not have its own restaurant and guests are not allowed to dine there. We were apologetic and she was nice about it but we found it just very odd.

Location and parking
This property has so much potential, just needs a little more TLC, particularly the grounds.

Hotel was very charming. Right when you enter the gates. Beautiful. Hotel has an old school charm and vintage. Breakfast was delicious. Not many choices which is fine because it was excellent.
The only think I didn’t like was the beds. But that’s also personal preference

The location is just perfect, 2 minutes walk from the city center. On top of it, there a super class secured parking. I was so pleased with the staff and the service that I decided to extend my stay. I was offered to try another room. Breakfast was most enjoyable with a wide choice. I shall come back again, this is for sure. Thanks to the Owners and to the Staff. Bernard
