Good location but take ear-plugs

The location and parking choices. You can book one of the 3 spaces, or take one of the remaining 12 (or so) spaces if they are available or park nearby. The hotel is in a quiet place, so this is OK

We tried to sleep but the air conditioning unit made strange noises at night when switched off. The hotel didn’t seem to understand the problem

Very nice stay

We were upgraded to a larger room which was very spacious and had a nice balcony. Room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Staff was gracious and kind. We were only going to stay one night but added another- the location was great for exploring St. Remy and beyond.

The pool area is great and very relaxing. The hotel offers service for drinks and food all day and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

Good but expensive breakfast.We had 2 dogs who were charged 18 euros each per day and the first day the room was not cleaned or hoovered.Good location and nice swimming pool.

Unsuitable for family with baby

- location 15min walk from town - garden and swimming pool lovely - safe and secure parking

- room was very small (not suitable for family with baby), felt very cramped and so wasn’t very comfortable - hotel generally a bit dated and could do with some attention - we were charged a nightly fee for use of the travel cot although this was made clear we didn’t feel it was justified I looked forwards to staying here as the photos on booking.com were so lovely so was just a bit dissapointed.

If i could give zero stars i would. Our room looked nothing like the pictures, the floor felt dirty, and it smelled of pee around the bed, and our shower started spreading sewage smell throughout the room the minute we ran the water, airing the room did nothing. The shower corners were filled with mold. Our bed springs seemed to be broken. We had the most awful stay. We payed ahead for 7 nights but after only one night we left even though the hotel refused to refund us for the remaining nights, saying goodbye to 700 euros. Also, the hotel manager said they are well aware that some of the rooms smell bad. It was unbelievable. STAY AWAY!!!

it’s worth going to this hotel for the welcome the lady of the house gives you. she is utterly charming and always read

the gardens are lovely with great humorous touches in the little sculptures strategically placed around

Nice property ... excellent value if you don't mind miniature bathrooms ...

This is a property with great potential, but it is urgent need of an update. The staff is delightfully helpful, and the grounds are lovely. The breakfast is generous and tasty. The location is a bit outside of the centre of town, but if you have a car, that's not an issue. Parking in Saint Remy, unfortunately, is challenging, especially on market days. Perhaps the property could offer a shuttle service to town, or bikes. This is obviously a family owned and operated property, and they are proud of it - as they should be. It's fairly priced, and overall a good value. Perhaps now that travel has returned to pre-Covid levels, they will take the initiative of renovating the bathrooms. They may lose a few rooms in the process, but in the long-term it would be an excellent investment.

The bathroom is incredibly small and outdated. The bathtub was so old that it literally sags when you step into it. The tub is a problem that is easily remedied. The size of the bathroom is a much more challenging design problem. The only solution might be to reduce the number of rooms so that the size of the bathrooms can be increased.
