Historical and cultural heritage of Deauville. You can immediately feel the former glory of the hotel! A real 5-star hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, even though you don't always get what you ask for quickly. Excellent concierge service and reception. Super location, great breakfast. Great ocean view.

Needs renovation. Otherwise everything is at a high level.

Love Deauville but won’t return to Le Royal until it’s been refurbished.

The Staff were very accommodating and so very helpful, especially concierge and in particular Adrien.

Decor , it needs a major refurbishment. The exterior of property is in urgent need of painting, the awnings need cleaning, the outdoor furniture needs renewing and what’s there needs cleaning.

the hotel is completely outdated, it is the first time in my life I go to a palace so badly maintained. ceilings cracked, smelly carpets, …. a catch, we paid more than 800 euro a night, not even a 3 stars hotel.

A pleasant 3 day stay but the hotel did not warrant the £370 per night room rate.

The staff were generally accommodating particularly the concierge.

Our initial room was tired , stained carpets and nowhere good enough for the for the room fee. I requested a room change but the was told we would have to pay an additional E70 for a refurbished room??
